To respond to another review, no, they will not file your case until you pay your balance, and that is not out of the ordinary for Chapter 7 filings. But, the minute you pay your $100, they are your representative and you can simply tell your creditors to contact them. I don't think any bankruptcy attorney would be in business very long if they relied on bankrupt people to pay them back AFTER filing:) My case was a little more work than the usual case, but John was willing to go the extra mile and ALWAYS kept in touch with me. He'd return calls within 10 minutes if I couldn't get a hold of him. We even spoke as late as 9pm some days. I cannot recommend Chang & Carlin highly enough.
