They brushed off my symptoms, saying it was just a "tick" or something mental and that it was…read morenormal. They had me try five different medications just to get me out the door, then refused to refill any of them without another return visit. Most were basically OTC-level meds that would've required another $300+ appointment to get. Absolute scam. They're still sending me bills for that one visit, and I think I'm up to $700+ now. No X-rays, no testing, nothing, just a basic visit.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Clarke for a second opinion regarding Sleep Apnea. The visit…read morewent south rather quickly because it seemed as if Dr. Clarke was positioning herself to continue what the first Doctor started. Although Dr. Clarke noted my complaints with using a CPAP and BIPAP, she totally disregarded them afterwards. Dr. Clarke also wrongly stated CDL drivers have to show compliance for all levels of Sleep Apnea. The FMCSA website states that only CDL drivers with moderate to severe Sleep Apnea have to show compliance with a machine. Dr. Clarke also mentioned modifying my current BIPAP back into a CPAP although I told her neither one was comfortable nor felt like was helping or actually needed. Dr. Clarke also questioned wether I lost weight recently although she could see my current weight matched my weight from my records from the previous Doctor. I didn't know it then but it was because I wasn't a candidate for Sleep Apnea according to the FMCSA.

After meeting with Dr. Cestia & his nurse Dawn, I finally feel like I was listened to and spoken to on a level I can understand and meet him in the middle on my health care needs. He didn't hurry me or placate me with trying me on this or that trial medication. Nor did he start giving me suggestions on other doctors that I should go to based on my health care concerns due to their specialties. So many times I've found that doctors are doctoring to make lots of money or too afraid TO doctor based on restrictions placed on them by insurance or government. I cannot thank this doctor and staff enough for seeing me as a human being just wanting to be well so I can be a better person to other people that are counting on me.

Todsy was no exception when I saw my doctor for a routine exam. The nurse I saw ranked the worst ever in attitude and questioned why I needed to use the bathroom during the exam. I arrived ready to provide a sample but when she said she didn't need one, I had to TCB. She was aptl absolutely awful. The lab tech who was very experienced and obviously good at her job, was sweating out loud "God damnit" because she rushed through the tests and realized she'd forgot one. Doc was also not on his game today either - forgetful and not well prepared for our appointment. The facility feels old and dingy - it's just not a positive and healthy environment for positive and healthy people. it's really sad that the healthcare system is so bad in this city and state. Thinking it's time to change things up.
