I recently moved to this area so I submitted a request for an appointment online. Didn't hear anything for days so I called. It was during business hours but no one answered so I left a message that I was interested in making an appointment if someone could reach out to me. Heard nothing back. Received an email a few days later responding to my online request for an appointment asking if I needed a cleaning or was having a problem with a tooth. I responded the same day and also mentioned in my response that I also called and left a message. Never heard back. So now I wouldn't go there even if they did ever decide to respond. Not a good impression for a potential new customer.

Since it is difficult to get her to a dentist, we were worried about what we were going to do. We were so lucky to be referred to Dr. Selmer. He called ahead to let us know when he would be there. He arrived with all of his sterile wrapped dental instruments, assessed my mothers situation, explained everything he was going to do to her, and removed the teeth, all while she laid in her recliner. He was kind, gentle, compassionate and very professional. I cannot say enough about how pleasant and easy the whole process was. We were nervous, but he quickly put our mind at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Selmer to anyone who has a loved one that can't get out to go to the dentist.

I speak from an accumulation of experiences with other physicians and dentists. My first dentist was Dr. Whoeride who came with the highest recommendation at my workplace. He was excellent. However, he retired and my journey began to replace him. In moving around, I stumbled upon dentist after dentist who did not meet the Whoeride standard until I visited Dr. Yeung. The dental work is top notch. From the examinations to the cleanings, to the dental work, the work is excellent. And he is very patient and thorough. He examines all the teeth each time. His staff is excellent. One of his staff sculpted a masterpiece temporary cap. The permanent cap fitted like a snap button. Experience with a prior dentist did not come close. Reminders - Dr. Yeung's office sends several messages to remind me of an upcoming appointment. I highly appreciate the reminders because I can be forgetful. Sometimes a long winding road to find the right physician gives clarity to what excellent is.

In order to tend to my needs, he ordered smaller tools that could fit in my mouth a little easier. At the end of the appointment I was given an idolize bill of what my treatment will cost and potentially how much my insurance would pay for. I ended up going to "Infinity Smile Dental" located in South Holland. Not only is Infinity Smiles office clean, their staff is extremely nice, its equipment is extremely up-to-date and My treatment was at a little over $1,000 less than what A-Z was about to charge for the same braces treatment.

I have severe dental trauma from issues I had as a kid. He would laugh at that. If I went more than 6 months he would scold me like a child. He was rude to my kids and made them feel uncomfortable. The hygienist were find, but never the same ones. The turnover is high, which suggests he's not a good employer. The final straw was when he diagnosed by daughter with 2 cavities. We made to separate appointments to have the filled. The first one they had to change because he overbooked. When we went to the rescheduled appointment he scolded my daughter for canceling. When we went to the next appoint a week later (after a reminder call), the office was dark and locked. We found a new dentist. My family has a history of weak enamel; because these were my daughter's first two cavities (she 18) we thought she had avoided that same fate. She did x-rays and found that not only was the one filling incomplete, but she had 12 other cavities that he never diagnosed even with recent x-rays and there is no way all those cavities developed in a matter of months. When I called them to let them know we would no longer be going, they sent us a huge bill with no insurance applied, now I'm fighting that. They just are lousy.

These guys let me lay back choking the entire time. Very unprofessional, no other dentist i've been to has ever NOT had suction in my mouth while doing ANY procedure. If I could give 0 stars I would.
