There's nothing they didn't do- Rose Hall ladies Amanda and Megan, wedding coordinators. They didn't skip a beat and my son had the best day of his life because of them! They were very attentive to the bride and groom, the parties and the family. You never had to wonder where they were to ask for something because they stayed close. This was our fourth child's wedding and this was by far the one the least stressful. This venue is so beautiful. Looks like those old homes in Savannah Georgia is what it reminded me of. Food was good! Cake was delicious!! Oh and the chicken buffalo dip was my favorite! Sweet Carley did a great job serving drinks! She served with a smile. The DJ was awesome as well. Brennan? Plenty of parking... outside wedding ... thank God for no rain.. birds were the background soundtrack to this day, which was wonderful. I like how you can walk right from the ceremony to the lower covered section for the reception. Since it was summer in GA, the huge fans helped with that thick heat. The only thing is... some of the attendants were not giving that Southern charm that I was expecting. Not even cracking a smile... the bartenders were friendly enough... but even their warmth couldn't make up for the disappointment of having only beer and wine as options (LOL). Food was decent, nothing to write home about.. except those wonderfully sweet yeast rolls and some of the best shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten. Yassss! We always enjoy stopping by the visitor's center to obtain additional information. It is fairly self-serve so you can just walk in and select the information that you need. A staff member did come in to see if we needed assistance but we were fine. It is a cute little office with plenty of seating so you can take a break from touring. Take time to stop in and say hey. We enjoyed visiting the Booth Western Museum but found that there was not much to the downtown area except they have an interesting number of art galleries and attorneys. I think the coolest aspects of the town are the trains that frequently pass through and the quaint little places to eat. The one place that should have been open, (according to posted hours) but wasn't, was the bakery. Shame on you! Maybe next time.

We checked in around 9 pm. The front desk employee was very friendly and welcoming. I travel for work so I am very familiar with the HIE hotels, but my friend who was traveling with me was not. He did a very nice job explaining the hotel features and breakfast to her, and answered all her questions. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were spotless. My room was very quiet, and I couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. I am not usually a fan of HIE breakfasts but this is Christmas Day and I know all the breakfast restaurants are closed, so I appreciated it. It was better than most, with several hot items. All the food was fresh and the area was very clean. The breakfast seating area was very nice. I'll remember this hotel for the next time I drive to Florida.
