When I was in town for work my co-workers suggested this for lunch. I am always game for a good local deli so I said why not. We didn't dine in but sent someone to pick up for everyone. I went with the Pirkle's Pimento Kaiser - Homemade Pimento Cheese, Ham & Bacon served on an onion Kaiser roll with a side of the Greek Pasta Salad. On road trip and found this small shop in cute Town. Sat outside at one of two small tables as we were traveling with our pup. Ordered at counter a Roast Beef & Swiss on rye and Melt a Hot Corned Beef & Swiss on rye. I also ordered a side of creamy pasta salad and fountain soda. My husband and I have been here twice now and will certainly be back again. My husband got the club sandwich both times. He's especially impressed with the nice, red tomatoes, even in the winter. The couple of little pickle slices that come with each sandwich are really good. The first time I got the chicken salad croissant - very good chicken salad on a good-sized croissant. This time I was in the mood for something hot, so I got the Grilled Hawaiian. It has the expected ham, pineapple and swiss, but the more unusual additions of honey mustard and bacon. It was perfect! I'd eat one every day if I could. The fruits were all ripe and sweet, not always easy to accomplish in the winter when fruit isn't in season. Pleasant, prompt and fabulous! This deli came as a recommendation from a few friends. Figured if two or more have gathered there...then likely worth the trip. A local gem, this deli has options! And a bunch of them. I scarfed down a grilled chicken salad with a side of garlic and dill potato salad. It was fantastic! Did I mention I scarfed? With so many menu options, I'm certain to return. Overall experience 11/10. Staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. Worker gave us ranch for free. I got the chicken salad sandwich (banana peppers on the side) and Greek pasta salad. My partner got the special : the Buffalo chicken wrap with Greek pasta as well. Both dishes came with kosher pickles. People can do too much with chicken salad and people can do too little, but Pirkles Deli did just right. But the real show stopper was the pasta salad. Anyone who lives in Cedartown knows about Pirkle's. It's kind of become a landmark. It's the place to go for good, healthy, fresh food that's high quality and delicious. We were riding the Silver Comet Trail and stopped at the Train Station. The lady there recommended Pirkle's Deli so we went there for lunch. It was only about 3 or 4 blocks up Main Street - very convenient. We arrived about 12:20 PM and there was quite a crowd there. A good crowd is usually an indication of how good the food is, and this was no exception! It didn't take long and soon we were enjoying our sandwiches and the dill potato salad. The food was great! Arrived just before noon and ordered at the counter. Grabbed our cups and self-served fountain and watched the many phone-in orders go out the door. I ordered the special (grilled pimiento cheese and bacon sandwich with a small bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo. Fiancé had chicken salad on a croissant roll with broccoli salad. Pirkle's Deli is an amazing lunch spot in downtown Cedartown. Roy and I like to get lunch there during the week. I'm boring and I stick with the chicken salad croissant. It has sprouts and banana peppers on it and I can't get enough. I'm also a huge fan of the Greek pasta salad. (Who am I kidding? If there's feta and black olives, I'm going to be all about it.) They have some daily sides and specials - Roy discovered the feta coleslaw and actually bought a pound to take home. It was incredibly summery and crisp. I recommend Pirkle's to anyone! read more

Pirkley's deli is a unique atmosphere. At first glance it looked like it could be a store but once you get inside it looks like a hipster opened a restaurant. Don't be fooled the food here is fantastic! I enjoyed the hot Cubano and the potato salad. I wanted to keep eating even though I was full. They are a little pricy at about 25$ for lunch for 2.
