I havent been into a Johnny Rockets in years! It was nice to see one while stopping in Harlingen. It was bery quiet in this location and it was smaller than most I have been to before. I ordered a burger and added chili to it. The burger was delicious! I also got a shake. That was good too. The wait staff was pleasant. I would be happy to stop in here again. read more

Great stop for a burger and shake. We have taken family there always quick to get in and out. Food is good and served hot. Staff is on top of your drinks and welcome you once you hit the door. Not crowded and the music is not overwhelming like some other places. read more

Do not go this place the manger is extremely rude. They don't like people using coupons. I seen the manger look pissed and then all 5 employees was looking at computers for like 15min. Not one could even come over fill up our pop or bring us a doggie bag. We presented the coupons before we ordered the food so as to know whether we could use it or not and we're told we could and than after we ordered a bunch of food they would not give to us because can't us 2 coupons on same table. They made up an excuse they couldn't change anything or move my parents to a different table so they could use their coupon. We came in separately and they ended up joining us at our table so than the waitress put us all at one table so than the coupon couldn't be used. They are money hungry and will screw you so they can get a dollar. read more

I spent like $25 on a burger and shake here. The portion was ridiculous. The service was good but I got yelled at by the cashier going HOW CAN I HELP YOU?!? Rude. Good food! But too pricey for the portions of food. Burger looked like a kids meal burger. The fries were hard and the waiting time was a little to long comparing to other Johnny Rockets Restaurants. Worst restaurant ever! We stopped in with my parents and presented our coupons at the beginning of the dinner to the waitress and asked if we could both use them at the same table. The waitress said she would check and went to talk the manager. She came back and said that we could use the coupons, so we ordered accordingly. Then after we were done eating she brought the checks and said sorry one of you can't use the coupon because we can't do two at the same table. I said well that's shady because we specifically asked if we could use them or we would have not eaten there if we couldn't. The manager was extremely rude and wouldn't work with us to give the little discount the coupon allowed. It's not like we were asking for a lot. I feel they did a bait and switch by saying we could use the coupons and than after we order a bunch of food change their minds and say sorry nothing we can do and we don't care if you come back. Server got busy and never served up the expensive $6 shake I ordered. Burger disappointed: Bun undersized and greasy, meat patty thin / unsubstantial, bacon hard / overcooked, onion ring overwhelmed the contents, and add-on avocado for $1.80 more not worth it (one sliver, not even fresh). Food overpriced in general (common complaint). One Smokehouse Burger with Avocado with tax and tip ran $13 -- Ouch! Compared to other Johnny Rockets, this one disappointed on food and service. But this location is new, very clean, bright and upbeat, and has convenient crossroads location. Best amenity: FREE jukebox with lots of popular tunes. read more

I went to Johnny Rockets for lunch with my coworkers. When it came time to pay, we each got our bill. The cashier charged me the wrong amount but gave me the cash difference. I walked out and waited for my coworkers to finish. They signaled me back inside where the general manager, Aaron Rodriguez told me that he had refunded my sale and he needed my debit card again to charge the correct amount. I asked for a credit receipt and he was unable to give me one. He was defensive and rude. He told me I needed to check my account online tomorrow because refunds take up to 24 hours to post. I told him I shouldn't have to check my account for a mistake that wasn't my fault. I ended up paying cash. He never offered an apology but rather told me that I needed to hurry and pay because there was a line behind me. When I told him that he was being rude and hadn't offered an apology, he said he didn't realize that I felt I needed an apology. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again simply because of this bad experience. He was the General Manager. What kind of training has he had with customer service? This was a huge disappointment. He represents Johnny Rockets and this is how he treats his customers. What a shame. read more
