There's lots of stuff here for kids (carousel, trampoline blob, playground, petting zoo), and lots of food and drink stands that I unfortunately can't say anything about since we didn't check them out. It was also very muddy, but there's nothing that can be done about that really. Lots of cute spaces for photo ops! The petting zoo was my favorite part honestly.

Admission was a little pricey but it felt worth it with everything they had. We went on a Saturday morning and it was packed. Our friends had to wait at least 1 hour for their food. They had plenty of photo ops which I took apart of. I will say, it was a group of 21+ so we were veryyyyy underwhelmed with the activities since most of them were kid focused. I did take advantage of the carousel and unashamedly got on there! It was a good time :) The farm was huge and I wished we had some kind of map that was either digital or on hand because a few time we could not find anything and I was SEARCHINGGGGGG for a couple things. For this last visit we brought our own lunch. Goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, goats, and sheep to visit. Slide, bounce, run, climb, sink into corn, take a ride out to pick a pumpkin. About a 30 minute ride from downtown KC. We had a good time but it was also stressful. First time going along as a school field trip. All the students, kindergarten ages 5, start in the barn. A nice gal gets up, to lay the ground rules but over all the kids, can't be heard. She has a microphone but it needs work. Tour guides come to take groups around the farm. Most stressful task was trying to keep 100's of 5 years olds in their groups while other visitors run freely playing. This whole day just further cemented for me that teachers should be paid more, ALOT more. One visit a season is a-ok and about all I got in me for this kind of entropy . If possible though I'm gonna try for less trafficked hours.

I came here on a hot summer day to enjoy the rows upon rows of bright yellow sunflowers amongst a beautiful blue sky. The fields may be small, but they are big enough for there to be plenty of flowers and to look yellow from overhead. I had a very relaxing time walking through the sunflower field, taking pictures, and enjoying nature. The farm is free to visit. Strawberries are sold by the pound, and sunflowers are a suggested donation of $1 per cut flower. There were also fresh-off-the-vine watermelons and cantaloupes for sale at $5 each when I visited. Photography is welcomed though a donation is strongly encouraged for each shoot. Overall, Berry Hill Upick Farm is a lovely little farm in Topeka, Kansas.

This was something I always enjoyed as a kid and it still holds that special fall feeling! Definitely a great place to take pictures, get some honey and overall soak up that fall feeling. They are the best one I have ever been to, and my family scouts out pumpkin patches for the good picks like crazy. The BEST. There's no corporate mazes, only the fruits of decades-- GENERATIONS-- of hard work, and the kittens are a part of that! When you sneak one of those little cats away, or MULTIPLE, not only do you harm the business of a magnificent, honest, hard-working family, AS WELL as the businesses they do work with, but you are also hurting their barn cats' cycle. It was so sad this year to see only a few kittens around. And the fact that AT LEAST TWO of them are said to have been stolen since then!?! Shame on you, whoever you are. This family is too good to deserve such ungrateful thievery. I hope this thoughtless injustice is rectified.
