In 2024, I wanted a fixed annuity for 3 to 5 years with the then interest rate of 5.5%. Gainbridge…read moreand other on-line annuities offered such products. Tony Newman told me that he would put my $ in such an annuity. He did not. My interest rate was only fixed for 1 year out of 5 years. Mr. Newman and Lifeguard financial did not listen to my investment desires in 2024. Mr. Newman tried to "make it up to me" by sending me a free T-shirt and some pens. I was told that Mr. Newman also sent me a fruit basket after I told him I would be out of town for several weeks. The fruit basket rotted on my front porch, was half eaten by animals, and I came home to a large mess that I had to clean up. Once again, Mr, Newman did not listen to me. At my 1 year renewal in July 2025, Lifeguard financial sent me the renewal documents to sign with 70% of my investment in a 1 year S&P500 index. At this time, the S&P 500 was at an all time high. Why would anyone want to lock into a S&P500 index at an all time high? This was also not the investment that I wanted. For the 3rd time, Mr. Newman and Lifeguard financial did not listen to my investment desires. Therefore, if anyone wants to invest your hard earned $'s with an annuity salesman and company who won't listen to you at all, Lifeguard financial may be the wealth management company for you!

0 stars if Yelp allowed it. And I actually am sorry to have to write this. The people in the…read moreMentor office are terrible, just dreadful. Be nice to your beneficiaries and make your annuities elsewhere. Unfortunately, a loved one passed on to heaven with Annuities through Lifeguard. A lot of money where I'm a beneficiary and they've had proof of passing and tons of forms filled out for them. Both Debbie and Anthony Neuman they just don't care about the customer. Nothing else I can conclude in my simple opinion. Just typical modern lazy people who shouldn't be in such a sensitive line of work perhaps. Over 3 months my loved one has been gone and after 4 phone calls a week after passing, a bunch of emails and then a bunch of faxes too that don't go through to their machine. All other fax machines receive, but not theirs. They seem to delay payouts to me a beneficiary and they've had proof of my address and the death for 3 months at least. I've received funds from other annuities almost immediately, but not from Anthony and Debbie at Lifeguard. Nope, their service to beneficiaries is nonexistent if you ask me. That Debbie shouldn't have her position because she doesn't bother with you and is terrible at explaining things, or does it deliberately who knows. This is my experience and opinion in hopes of warning others. Again, other funds where I'm beneficiary already been taken care of. But not Lifeguard.
