I should have left this review months ago, but almost 10 months later my tint job from Johnny's still looks fabulous. We purchased a new vehicle while wintering in PCB and wanted to add the finishing touch. Johnny's not only worked us into the schedule quickly, but confirmed the legal tint for my home state and walked me through the different options with no gimmicks or high pressure sales tactics. I'm gonna be honest, when I first walked in I smelled a little "puff, puff, pass" and was a little worried they may not be able to deliver to my expectations. But these dudes, and their chill factor, had all the patience and attention to detail needed to ensure my job was done right. Their laser precision cuts, customized to my vehicle make and model, fit my windows perfectly. They even didn't like how one of the windows was sticking on the window gasket (it looked fine to me), but they asked for a little more time to redo it and make sure it was perfect. I did my research when picking a place to tint my windows. Johnny's was on par with the others, not necessarily the cheapest, but one of the few that offers a premium, quality tint film better than that stuff you get at Walmart and other DIY kits. It's worth a couple of Benjamins to know you're getting a tint that's not only going to look great, but will last. Johnny's will have you leaving there happy saying, "alright, alright, alright." ;) read more

Warning!!! Not Johnny's anymore. That's why the 2star rating. Now called Formula One. It's a chain. Went in to have our THIRD vehicle done at this shop and knew right away that the place had changed hands. Can't honestly give a review on the new place because after hearing the guy tell us how much better the film is they were using instead of the previous owner, he lost us right then. He didn't outright "badmouth" Johnny's but he didn't say anything positive about the previous owner's work either. We had a vehicle done by Johnny's back around 2015 and it looked perfect 5 years later when we sold the vehicle. The second vehicle we had done in 2020. Again, it looks just as perfect as the day he tinted the windows. So here we come yesterday with the third vehicle to be tinted and no more original owners. We specifically drove this vehicle from our home state (Ohio) just to have the windows tinted here at Johnny's. Needless to say we will just have it done in Ohio when we return. The new place did not do a convincing enough job in making us believe they would be as good if not better than the job done on our other vehicles. And what we found most interesting was that until 'we' told 'him' we had to check Ohio tint regulations, we weren't sure he was aware of that issue. We pointed out the chart above the door listing state tint regs and then he said "oh ya". So while we cannot judge the kind of job these guys do, we can say that we were not impressed enough to give them a try. Couldn't find any current reviews of this place since it changed hands so beware! Might be ok, might not! read more

This was the third vehicle that we've taken to Johnny's for tinting and each experience has been great. Bo is friendly and very professional; she'll answer any question you have and offer suggestions based on what you're looking for. She walks you through the selection process and explains the pricing clearly so there are no surprises at the end. If you choose to stay, you have the opportunity to watch the guys work on your car, or if you're like me, you can leave for lunch then come back to see the finished product. They explain the warranty as well as the steps that are needed to make sure that the product cures properly. I highly recommend this place; they take pride in what they do and it shows. read more

If you want the best go here. They just did my Audi S8 which is a pain in the ass car to tint. Turned out amazing. They are car people so the service you receive will be hands down the best. Plus if you don't really know what you want as far as style or level of tint they will show you all for there products as well as a heat lamp demo to show the different levels of protection. Awesome tint job. First time he's done a Hyundai Ioniq and even with the tricky back window he was able to finish the car within an hour. Super friendly husband and wife team too! Horrible experience! I wasn't going to do this but considering I gave him the chance to fix his work and he couldn't, I'm sharing. First of all I arranged to meet him about 4 on a regular weekday which he said was fine and we could talk about my options. I drive way out of my way to go and see him, get there at 5 after 4 and there isn't a soul around. Closed... I said about 4, had no idea they closed at 4. Didn't bother to mention it to me. Anyway I didn't care about the service because it's about quality right and looking at reviews he's the best? Apparently not, he had crooked cut lines everywhere which I shouldn't even been able to see anyway except at the top of the window! I decided to go back and give him a chance to make it right. He fixed the two rear side windows but now I've got to pay someone else to fix the front two which are still messed up because I'm not bringing it back to him. Not to mention he cut my outer rubber seal on my brand new truck with his razor tracing his pattern and didn't bother to mention it. Lost that 300 bucks plus. read more
