So 20 years ago I purchased this 2002 Ford F350 Power Stroke Diesel. I promised my wife when I bought it that it would be the last pickup truck that I would buy. I meant it then, and still mean it today. It's been my baby ever since. But twenty years in the sun was making Big Blue look a little faded and tired. Enter Mike, owner of Mikes's Auto Collision on 2433 Jenks Ave, Panama City, FL. A little back story.... A little over 2 1/2 years ago in October 2018, I went to Mike and asked if he could repair a really bad part of the paint. We agreed on a price and he took Big Blue for work. Three weeks later a CAT 5 hurricane ravaged Panama City. Its name was Michael. It took me a week to get my road cleared so I could go see if anything was left of my Truck. When I got to Mike's Collision he took me inside the shop to show me even though they were still trying to clear out the mess. To my utter astonishment, Mike had put my truck inside one of his two paint booths before the storm hit! Wow! It took about a month to get my truck back. I didn't care a bit. Mike saved my truck. Had it been at my house it would have had two massive oak trees on top of it. It would have been hauled off as scrap. So fast forward 2 1/2 years. It's time to get the entire truck painted. I have been using Mike and his crew for many years. Mike and his crew have always been honest to a great fault. Always explain issues and helped above and even paid for rental. I am writing this review, because I was in his office the other week needing his help once again. a customer was giving Mike the third degree over part problems. Mike took the issue top notch calmed the customer and made him understand all the things they are faced with to complete a repair. Even called the dealer on speaker phone and had them explain the issue, and offered to help any way. Mike is having may isssues with parts and help, but he always been there for his customers at no cost. Mike and his team has once again greatly surpassed our expectations! He previously fixed my wife's van and made it look brand new after a pretty bad accident. This time around he took in my Brand New Limited Edition Longhorn with the Black pearl finish (which is very hard to touch up) and made it look better than new! I had major hail damage and his Paintless Dent Repair system was amazing! I can't tell there was ever any damage!! I also had a pretty deep gouge in the quarter panel from someone hitting me and he was able to repair and touch up the paint so that it cannot be found! Once again I have a black pearl finish, and it was touched up perfectly! He not only accomplished all of this, but did it in a time frame that was extremely fast. Upon arrival, the ladies in the office were very professional and fun-loving, as it was Halloween weekend. Then the day I was supposed to pick up my Jeep, one of the parts had not arrived, Not their fault. So I had to wait. Finally when all was said and done. Mike was fantastic to deal with. Consistant great service and quality. My mom purchased a 2011 Honda Civic, that was sold under the understanding it has never been wrecked, WRONG! It has a large amount of damage that could not be seen with the untrained eye. After purchase the vehicle was struck a parking on the front bumper by an unknown person, and it just looked bad. I knew the bumper would have to be replaced, but had no idea about the underlying damage from previous accident. Mike gave me a price and I hoped for the best. This needs more than five stars! Mike & his people are real blessings. The first body shop I went to wanted to charge me an astronomical amount, couldn't tell me when they would start or be done, & insisted I leave my drivable car there. So, instead, I took it to Mike's. Mike made my door closable right there in his parking lot--for free--and gave me a date to bring it back in for the rest. I was quoted over $250 to replace two turning light bulbs on my Lexus SC430. I called and Mike quoted not only a much lower rate but after he installed the light bulbs (which are not easy on a Lexus SC430) he told me that since it I was quoted such and outrageous amount he did it for free. I have used Mikes Auto Collision before to fix my front right side that was dented in a garage and they did a fabulous job.
