Dr. Brandon Haugh sat 6 feet away from my mother and refused to service/touch her during an appointment . She told him she could not eat and her bottom hurt. She found later while throwing up that she had a blocked stomach and a bed sore at an emergency room. He continued to refuse to see her and she DIED. Dr. Haugh and the John's Hopkins Community Physicians is a useless organization that should be shutdown! read more

I have the highest regard for the practitioners at this practice, which we have been using since moving to Westminster 4 years ago. I, my daughter, and her 4 children use this practice. I am a retired U. Md. RN and my daughter has been an ER nurse for 5 years, so we recognize quality health care. Dr. Kass has been thorough and always responds to my concerns by ordering appropriate tests/treatments. My daughter says Erica Gifford communicates well. She trusts her enough to send her two teen/tween daughters to her. Dr. Haugh did a good job with my urgent care issue and is also the primary provider for my two grandsons, one of whom has a chronic autoimmune disease. It is helpful that labs can be drawn in the office most of the time. The staff has always been pleasant and professional. We highly recommend this practice. read more

We have been using this practice for well over a decade now. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and helpful. Erica Gifford finally helped me find answers to why I spent years in pain with recurring chronic kidney stones, and several other medical issues. She had quite literally saved my life. AND she's local! She'll stop and talk to you in the store if you see her out and about. I'm thankful and fortunate she's my primary care giver. read more

Doctor refused to physically check patient during office visit. He sat 6 feet away. The patient complained of stomach pain and not eating. Also, sore bottom. Patient started vomiting at home and had to go to the emergency room. It was found that she had a blocked intestine that required surgery and an open wound. She has spent 4 months in the hospital. Doctor has refused to speak or service patient and has staff run interference. This doctor is highly NOT recommended. read more

In spite of its name and its "sliding scale" fee seeming-friendliness, this is NOT a place for the uninsured. The billing department is separate from the office and employees are "not allowed" to know how much services cost. Therefore, a $75 appointment ended up costing me over $450 (in a bill that arrived two weeks later from Boston). The bill included two $100+ "office fees", not medical fees, which I found excessive and unnecessary. I paid the $75 (as I am used to paying flat fees in "community" medical centers), but will be unable to pay the surprise fees that came later. Not to mention Dr. Consagara, even with 15 pages of my previous medical records, refused to prescribe necessary medications that I have been on for five+ years (an antidepressant and eczema lotion). I was put through the ringer for weeks, finally received the Rx for the antidepressant only to have it filled (and imbibed) to find out it was the WRONG medication. The office was very indignant about the mistake (ummm, obviously they do not realize that you can't just skip a dose with antidepressants, just like you cannot skip a dose of insulin). The entire experience was humiliating and unprofessional, NOT AT ALL what I was expecting from Johns Hopkins. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who desires dignified treatment. read more

Dr. Kass has always taken the time to address every concern that we have had. If we send him an email to follow up, he and his staff have never failed to promptly and completely respond. We have recommended several family members and friends to this practice and they have been equally satisfied. read more

I wish I could give this office a ZERO star rating. That's what they truly deserve. I suggest you avoid this location of this practice at all costs unless you enjoy frustration, confusion and worry. I never had any issues with the Odenton location. Dr. Haugh is disorganized or disinterested in his patients (not sure which) and incompetent. During our visit my son's symptoms were not correctly documented as I would later come to find out. This ended up causing great confusion and frustration as I had to repeatedly correct the nurses I would end up talking to on the phone. This completely destroyed the confidence I had in Dr. Haugh. After blood test results were returned showing an active infection/virus and I had further questions, I was dismissed by Dr. Haugh with him only relaying the message 'He didn't seem that sick to me' through his nurse. He did not care at all about my son's well being. After insisting on a second opinion, I was then advised to have my son rechecked in a week...??!! This was our first visit to this facility as we are new to the area and it will surely be our last. What's worse? After reporting all of this to the Administrator and completing their online survey to this effect. I have received ZERO follow up. That shows me exactly how much they care for their patients. I went to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Westminster, MD and had the worst experience of any doctor I have ever been to. I would NOT recommend you ever go to Dr. Robert N. Kass or any of the doctors at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. I needed to get blood work done because I was feeling extremely fatigued and was sleeping excessively. When I called to ask if Dr. Kass would also check for Vitamin D and Anemia with my blood work the staff said "I'm sure that won't be a problem. Just tell the nurse who takes your blood to add those things." I thought that would be all I had to do. Easy enough, right? Absolutely NOT. When I went in to get my blood drawn I did exactly what the staff told me to do. The nurse got very rude when I asked if those two things could be added to my blood work. She then proceeded to tell me nothing could be added unless I got something from a doctor on a prescription pad but she would ask Dr. Kass. After I left, she called me and told me that Dr. Kass refused to add Vitamin D and Iron to my blood work but gave me no reason why. I called back later that day wanting to talk to Dr. Kass just to get his reasoning on why he would not add those two things when they could easily be the cause of my fatigue. He did not return my phone call. I called SIX more times and left six messages for him over four days to find out that he was ignoring all of my calls. His medical assistant called me on the fourth day with my blood work results and to tell me all of the sudden he was going to add Iron and Vitamin D to my blood work. She also told me that she never saw ANY of my messages or the sticky note that one of the staff had said she was going to put on his computer. Not only am I disappointed with him being so unprofessional that he could not give me (His patient) two minutes of his time over the phone, but also with the RUDE staff that was going along with him while he IGNORED my call. I will NEVER be back to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Westminster, MD and I will tell everyone about the awful experience I had with Dr. Robert N. Kass. read more
