There weren't any car washes or anywhere safe to pull over, so I stopped here. Luckily, they weren't overly busy and said they could get me in a few minutes as they were just finishing up someone else's same issue. I asked if they remove the wheels and I was assured by the young man that they take off all the wheels and spray them out. Great. That would be helpful and I could make it home without the car shaking aggressively as I drove. I waited for nearly an hour and wondered what was taking so long so I decided to ask the guy at the counter how long it would take to spray out tires. He looked at me surprised like he forgot I was still waiting. He went to the shop and was back in 30 seconds and said 'your car is done'. It seemed a little suspicious but I just wanted to get home so I paid and went home as more snow was coming down and I didn't want to run into the same issue again. When I got home and parked in the garage, I realized I had left my locking lug nut with tool kit behind. I had taken it out of the trunk and meant to put it in the glove box and guess I forgot. No one even bothered to ask me for the locking lug nut so I assumed they had found it. I wondered if maybe they had just found one that worked, but upon closer inspection of my wheels, they were still very dirty with many chunks of ice still attached. Most of the snow was gone, but it was very clear that this shop charged me $40 (PLUS AN HOUR OF MY TIME!) to park my car in the shop and do literally NOTHING. Wheels weren't removed as they claimed. None of the tires were sprayed out and I still ended up having to clean the rest of the ice out myself. Something so simple turned out to be very deceitful. I can't imagine what other sheister moves would be pulled if you actually had to get real work done here. I'd caution folks to steer clear of this place. While it was only $40, it was still my time and my hard-earned money that was deceitfully taken from me.

I know this as I only gave them my first name, but the receipt had my first, middle and last name as well as my address on it. This is a complete violation of privacy and trust! Now for the cost. Although the tires seemed like a good deal, I had a fender bender a couple months after and my insurance papers, that were always in the dash were missing. The shay tire snooper forgot to put them back. I never checked as i didn't give them permission to snoop in my dash! I got a $1200 fine for not having insurance. It was straightened out, but was a hassle between my insurance and the courthouse 2 hours away from me. There are no deals to be had at this place that now has my personal information and if I have my identity stolen this crooked place is my first suspect. who knows what they have to safeguard my information or if they have any intentions as they are the ones that snooped in my dash and forgot to put my insurance back. I now keep my insurance in my wallet and take my registration out when I get any maintenance done.

I own a newer Dodge Caravan, have had Andy's Tire Kingston work on my van a few times and have been…read morerelatively happy with the work that was done, until now. They replaced tires, back brakes and rotors. The front brakes and rotors now need to be changed as well, so two weeks ago I stopped in to get a quote and then made an appointment to have the work done. At the time the mechanic took the down the VIN for my vehicle and the quote was based on that. I went in for the appointment this morning and once they took my van apart, they then came and informed me that the front rotors for my van were now $200.00 more expensive than what they quoted previously as my van requires a different rotor than what they quoted. As you can imagine, I was very angry and upset at this and couldn't understand why this was. I then told them that I was not going to have them do the work and was charged $55.00 for them to put my vehicle back together. I didn't know they charge a fee for their mistakes. I've been in to see another mechanic, got a quote that was significantly less than Andy's Tire price and have an appointment to have the work done somewhere else. This is very unfortunate for Andy's Tire as they could have had all of my future car maintenance business, but if this is how they treat a repeat customer I will not be going back there.

September 20, 2020…read more Met Alex for the first time today. Fortunately he was open on a Saturday afternoon. He told me to bring my vehicle right away. In short order he found the cause of a slow and menacing leak in my rear tyre and fixed it for me at a surprisingly affordable rate. Alex takes obvious pride in his neatly organized, well-equipped workspace. He is cheery and focused and clearly knows his wheel/tire craft back to front, if you'll pardon the pun!
