Joel was so easy to work with! He came over one evening, and emailed us an estimate that same night. We decided to go ahead with his services, and we couldn't be more pleased! He came early Thursday morning with Aaron & Winston and they got right to work. All 3 gentlemen were VERY kind, and VERY hardworking. They paid close attention to detail, listened to our wishes /concerns, and took their time to do things right. We just had brand new carpet placed, and refinished the hardwood floors...they took great care to keep it looking brand new! They cleaned, swept, and vacuumed each day before they left-which was HUGE for me, as I have a 2 & 4 year old roaming around. Speaking of my kiddos-all 3 of these men took moments from each day to chat with them and my little ones woke up daily asking for "their friends". Their work is beautiful, their personalities are wonderful (if you're having someone in your home for multiple days-this IS important!!), and we would, without hesitation, tell anyone to use them! I have nothing negative to say! I may ask Joel for more fresh tomatoes and Brazilian coffee though! I highly recommend hiring Joel, Aaron, and Winston! I was always told to get 3 estimates for any big service work. After getting 4 estimates, I realized I could have saved myself the time and trouble and just have gone with Joel, or Johnson Painting and More. Their estimate came in at around the same price as other quotes, but with Joel you get a very responsive person who actually CARES. He and his son Aaron are just good people. I felt a little guilty in that I kept adding to the list of things I needed done and the answer was always "no problem at all." So they painted the exterior of my house, did substantial work on my back deck and side porch, and fixed a major issue with my kitchen ceiling. And fixed my doorknob. Oh and installed a dimmer switch that I needed. The great thing about Joel's set up is he can get just about anything done for you. Finally, Joel and Aaron helped me out with a move, which is hard work, on a Sunday afternoon. What's more, they insisted on doing it for free and they used the money I pushed into their pocket to buy shoes and food for the needy. Unbelievable. Reached out to Johnson Painting 10 years ago to paint our entire house (exterior) plus two outbuildings. Gave a very competitive estimate, not the cheapest mind you but not the highest. We decided to go with Joel based on his through expectation of caulking needs on the house prior to painting. The other contractors just mentioned we'll need to do some caulking. Joel actually took me around to show the caulking needs because it was extensive. Joel and another person spent an entire day and several cases just to prep the house. A little bit more than "Some" caulking. This past fall we again called on Joel to give us an estimate to repaint. We were trying to decide whether to paint or go with vinyl. He came out and gave me two estimates...one for entire painting and one for all the trim and our large wrap around porch. Never once tried to talk me out of vinyl... just gave me the info I needed in making our decision. We went with vinyl and Joel adjusted his schedule to get the painting done prior to the siding crew coming in. Highly recommended with complete professionalism. read more

While I was out of town, my husband contacted Joel to come and provide estimate to fix a small patch of drywall in one of our bathrooms. While there, my husband called me on facetime and I actually got to speak with Mr. Johnson. I wanted to be sure that he had the right paint (my husband got him from the garage) and to make sure that the wall would look like new (as it was before the damage occurred). He was so nice and professional and told me that when I returned home, it would be fixed and it was. I couldn't tell where he had done the work it was that good. What a blessing he was to us. He wasn't going to charge us anything for such a small job but my husband insisted we pay him. He indicated he'd use the money to help a family in South America which would feed them for a week. We need more people in this world like Joel and we will recommend him to anyone that needs help with repairs and painting.
