Also told Was later told was worth 600 cash and was screwed on that!! Sold a 1 ton truck bed, truck receiver hitch. I bought a lift kit to put on my truck, and paid 2000 dollars on a lift kit and took over 4 months and kept on rescheduling lift kit install after I pay two thousand dollars , cash advance in full! Included in lift kit deal tires wheels,I never received my wheels and or tires. . brand new tires and wheels. Refuses to return my calls or give me the items i paid for. The person was a dear friend of mine that took advantage of my kindness for weakness and the fact im disabled. Also gave him a free scrap truck and scrap metal. Out of good faith. And got screwed over. I have spent and lost over 17 thousand dollars cash in hand on this shop. All he had to do is stand by his word and give me the tires and wheels that were promised and i paid for in cash. I have personally referred multiple people to this shop. I have nothing but brought business to the shop including talked highly about the shop. Even offer to advertise the shot to bring more business. In return , I get screwed over and screwed around with. It is far easier to take the time to write about a negative experience. Well today I am taking of my very limited time and writing a positive review. Especially, as it is so richly deserved. The team at Bear and Son Automotive Repair located at 2612 S. Springfield in Bolivar are top notch and without question a cut above! They might not be one of the big companies out there but I promise you what they will do in so far as quality of service, full in complete communication and total customer satisfaction is GIGANTIC! And yet, it is readily identifiable that their intent and desire IS NOT to charge as much as is humanly possible. Like we were recently experiencing elsewhere. Quite the opposite. It really all starts with Kandis. She is at the front desk when you enter their office. I believe she wakes up every day with the goal of making a difference with anyone in need of their services. I know that is exactly what she did for us! They do not just quote a cost for something but they actually provided us with pictures as to why the cost. Something I will never forget is at the end of everything as I was complimenting them, Kandis saying "We always take care of our customers." It wasn't calculated or simply stated. I could tell it was heartfelt and obviously something they all make every possible attempt to accomplish. I just can not say enough about Bear and Son Automotive Repair.
