More than one person in the car trying to contact places, and this one was the most polite, had the best time estimate AND the best price- honestly, it pays to go with a local company in times like this. The driver arrived within the timeframe given (about an hour, since the initial dispatch informed me they needed the truck that could go off road instead of the flatbed that was immediately available), hooked up the vehicle well and got us out quickly, then followed us to be sure we didn't get stuck again! The trail was fairly well packed other than the one place we got stuck, and if we had paid attention to the size of the puddle we could have gone around as others did and been fine. Overall, loved this experience, appreciated the honesty (and lack of derisive laughter, though we were laughing ourselves quite a bit) and prompt attention from Johnson's and absolutely recommend their service if needed. This is the best towing service that i've ever come across and i've lived in California, Missouri, and Florida (across the entire state from, Pensacola to Miami). They quote a price at the beginning and stay true with it. The payment is through your phone so there's no shady cash transactions or hidden fees at the last minute. Specifically for my situation, they estimated 2 hours and came in 1.5 hours. The main truck couldn't fit in my garage, so they called another person to come to tow it out of the parking garage. They think they are cops and don't have to follow laws. They are unfamiliar with laws clearly written that apply to all impounds (private or police initiated). Rude on the phone, lied about the services they offer, and if in 5 years the woman never realized their are rules and because they dispatch services to police they don't get to break them. Closed on Sunday so you can't get your vehicle and they can charge another day, and further more they will damage your vehicle with no consequences for carelessness. Little wanna be Jr Deputy Dispatchers need a couple law classes before they act like they have a badge. My friend wrecked his car and it was impounded at Johnson's. The fellow at the window was very friendly and helpful. They quickly pulled the car from the lot (15 minutes). They had to tow the vehicle the next morning, which didn't bother me. The fellow operating the wrecker was friendly and efficient, placing the vehicle right where I wanted it. Our BRP Can-Am Spyder broke down and after spending an hour on the phone with BRP emergency road side assistance we found your truck, your driver #144 was wonderful!!! He went out of his way and way beyond to help us, he towed our spyder and trailer to a dealer and since the dealer was closed he also loaded our luggage up and drove us to a hotel, he stayed until we got checked in at the room he helped us get into our room and went out of his way to ensure we stayed in a safe area!! worst towing company ever. don't use this company. I had motorcycle accident recently. my insurance company showed up to evaluate the bike and it was laying on it side. that tells me that the driver dragged the bike up on the truck and didn't have decency to stand it up. doesn't matter if bike was in an accident they should treat it with respect. their business card says damage free that is complete BS.
