History
Established in 2016.
It all started back in 2016, a simpler time. Legalization was still fresh, like a newly sprouted seedling, and we were wide-eyed idealists. I envisioned JVC as a haven, a place where folks could explore the wonders of cannabis in a welcoming, judgment-free zone.
Week One: Our "grand opening" involved a customer who thought "sativa" was a type of Italian sausage, and a delivery driver who got lost... inside our parking lot.
One time, a batch of our "relaxing" brownies ended up being extra relaxing. We had a line of customers napping in our lobby. It was like a cannabis-induced slumber party. We're less "boutique" and more "beautifully chaotic." But hey, we've got good weed, and even better stories.
Through it all, Joint Venture Cannabis has persevered. We've learned from our mistakes (mostly), embraced the chaos, and cultivated a community that appreciates a good laugh as much as a good strain. We’ve got good vibes, great products, and a whole lot of hilarious stories!

My journey into the cannabis industry wasn't a straightforward path. At 25, I faced a cancer diagnosis that turned my world upside down. Traditional treatments were grueling, so I began searching for ways to manage the debilitating side effects: the nausea, the pain, the profound lack of appetite.
I discovered that it offered a level of relief that conventional medications couldn't provide. It helped me regain my appetite, eased my pain, and allowed me to find moments of comfort amidst the challenges.
I witnessed firsthand the potential of cannabis to improve quality of life, especially for those facing serious health conditions. I also saw the need for greater access to reliable information and high-quality products.
