Food's great too, with decent portions and great service from what appears to be the entire sixth form of Cromer high school. If the view does begin to bore, nip downstairs to the lifeboat museum. Lovely place to hang out in the sun, especially if you've just taken the dog for a canter along the prom. Next door is a great icecream kiosk too. Just before you leave, check out the set of steps that rises from the back of the cafe, up the cliff wall. There's a blue plaque screwed to the cliff wall telling you that this was the site of the return of King Edward IV to England in 1471. That's one for pub quizzes fact fans
