Had 2 trees removed. Jon Davis literally dropped heavy tree limbs on my roof causing damage and leaks. I was accused of trying "pull one over on them" because I asked them to repair what they damaged. The price to remove the trees was the going rate, but the damage and insult to boot is the issue. read more

I've used them twice and the last time was removal of 4 large and 3 smaller trees and assorted brush. They beat the competition for price bid and their troops were great workers and left yard in tidy shape. Jon Davis tree service is very efficient did everything we asked for and more! I asked him to clean up more than what we had agreed on and did so with no extra charges. They were very polite as well. They accidentally broke Adirondack chair of ours and paid for it right away. Cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. They are so good to work with. Called 352 799 3494 from a card that I found at the Uhaul in Inverness on 41 months earlier. There was no answer, but his outgoing voicemail asked for a name, a phone number, and an address. It did not ask for what work I need to do. I left my name, my phone number, and a description of the work I needed done, and that I live in Spring Hill. I do not give my address out to people just for asking. There must be a good reason. You don't see my address spray painted on any walls, either. He calls back a few minutes later and asks for the address. I explained to him that I am in Spring Hill, and usually, we would talk about the work I need done, and schedule a time for him to come out and look at it. He said he knew what work I did already, because I left it in my voicemail. I explained that I do not give my address out to people simply for asking, and that if we scheduled a time for him to come out, I would give him my address. "Do you give estimates over the phone?" I asked. He said and I quote, "I don't need it. Bye." So there you have it, folks. HE DOES NOT NEED MY BUSINESS and he likely DOES NOT NEED YOUR BUSINESS EITHER. EDIT: I called him back to tell him about this review and he said and I quote, "If you don't think I need your address, you're stupid." Imagine having a conversation like that about money! read more

Jon Davis Tree service was GREAT!!!! The BEST!!!!!! We bought a house and the back yard was VERY overgrown and needed alot of TLC. We hired them for the entire day and a crew of about 8 guys came in and worked their tails off to get as much debris and large trees out of the area as they could. You cannot miss this big pink trucks or the guys running around wearing pink shirts! These were the politest most professional group of men I have met in a long time. We had been staring at the large pile of tree debris for a little while and had decided we needed someone to remove it. The Davis crew did an amazing job. We had them come out to get an estimate, they were great! When It came to scheduling to have a $4000.00 job done they would not give me a day and started texting, not calling, to say we are coming tomorrow or we are coming this morning. No advanced notice! I couldn't get them to actually commit to a day! Really strange!! I get a text they are coming that morning. I need to mark off our septic tank and prepare the back yard. I call and a woman answers from the texting number who is very defensive, acts like she doesn't know anything, although she is the secretary, and suddenly somehow knows we are scheduled for today. Magic!!! They state they took us off the schedule all together. My husband and I decide we don't need to do business with people who can't communicate and can't be courteous and understand paying people don't sit around all day waiting with bated breath for when you may or may not come to do the work!!! We cancelled the job and I got a THUMBS UP!! Yeah, not very classy but I don't think they really care!! read more
