We had a clean record and well over the necessary income. We were told to submit the app fee the day before she decided it would not be available all of a sudden. Nikki made us write a small biography of ourselves as well when I was told that decisions should be made based on the facts of the application. Again, moods changed once they saw our licenses showing Black people with dreadlocks. Unfortunately this is the harsh reality we live in daily, regardless of our clean background and 7500/month income. Please know that we have had to settle for an apartment and give up our dog which has been a huge emotional stressor. This could have been prevented if we were just handled more professionally and not given the run around. She mentioned the house would not be ready and now we notice an Open House this Saturday 9/3. Again, I feel we were discriminated against and paid for someone to give us a hard no without consideration of the application. Safe to say I don't trust KW and its values as a Black person seeing as we were clearly marginalized. Nikki even texted me stating, "The owner is just very protective of her home" and I responded "Sorry we did not make her feel safe." And of course, she didn't respond because it was pointed out that her verbiage was very inconsiderate and prejudice.

Keller Williams shirts, name tags and jackets all over the crescent city vomiting from drunkenness, delivering unwanted grabs and gropes to strangers, loud and unruly, often seen on Frenchman, Decatur and other areas of the Quarter behaving like drunk underage fools. Certainly not behaving like someone I'd entrust my real estate decisions to.

She is extremely responsive -- there has never been a time she hasn't replied to a text or email, and most of the time she responds within minutes. Whenever I reach out about an issue in the building or within my unit, she's quick to have it looked into and resolved in a timely manner. She always follows through and keeps me updated every step of the way. Switching management companies and having PMI New Orleans manage our association has truly been one of the best decisions we've made.

Long story short, we contacted one of PMI's realtors to begin the rental application process for a property, and it was quickly obvious that all application work had been outsourced to various website management tools. Then we found out that applications were 50 dollars per person; initially seemed liked no big deal - we understood the need for checking credit. Then, after almost two weeks of no contact, ignored emails, calls, and texts, we were informed that we would not be moving forward with the application due to "financial reasons". You will have to take my word for it, but this is a poor excuse considering the strength of our application. Of course we were also not getting our money back. It seems obvious that this would be the result in retrospect - with the endless moving between different websites, strange rules around rental timelines, and total lack of real person interaction - but we are made the fool regardless. It is clear to us now that PMI is simply the shadow of a professional business, only interested in wasting customers time and money. To future customers - avoid this company!

She was very patient with me and showed me a number of homes. I am very indecisive and was over the place when it came to figuring out the type of home I wanted..... (single family... condo...multi family... etc.). She was very understanding and helped me decide what was best for myself. I ended up purchasing a single family hone in Mid City. There were some hiccups along the way (possible easements, inaccurate property parcel on assessors site) and Carolyn knew exactly who to contact to rectify these issues and was able to find the proper information for me to make the decision to put the offer in and eventually purchase the home. I am so grateful for her help in reaching out to the seller's agent, title company and attorneys for the information we needed. Overall she made the home buying process as stress free as possible and made me feel comfortable with the decisions I was making. Most other realtors probably would have been driven crazy by my indecisiveness and lack of knowledge but Carolyn was happy to educate me on the process and took her time with me. I would highly recommend!!!!!!! Thank you so much, Carolyn!

At move in the place was a huge mess. Dirty, full of previous renters stuff and many minor to moderate repairs necessary. To their credit they addressed some (new fridge and washer, large hole is wall) and ignored others (moldy shower, leaking kitchen sink with non functioning hand shower, A/C filters). The walls were marked up/chipped in several places, the place was obviously not cleaned as lease said it would be. We moved it, made some improvements and fixes and generally dealt with things. During the year when something broke they were responsive enough (A/C repair could have faster but ...). PRO TIP- it was suggested to s that the way the deal with the office is to be over the top nice with them (we even went so far as to send them cookies) - all for the "privilege" of having them fulfill their obligations. We had heard horror stories about withheld deposits so when we moved out the parents got together and left the place as spotless as it could get. The only thing left behind was furniture sold to new incoming tenants and the place was in the best shape it had probably been in the time he owned it (probably cleaner than when our kids lived there) Well the effort seems to have mostly paid off. We did get all of our deposit back except $100 to "repaint 1 wall". Am I going to fight over $100? No. Am I annoyed at what feels like the pettiest of responses? Yes. Seems like painting a wall falls under normal wear and tear to me. Maybe I should send a $300 bill for cleaning the place since he didn't have to (not that he would have). Seems fair to me .

My personal cleaning supplies were stolen from the apartment and when I asked about it I received no apology or explanation - just cash to replace it a week later. I noticed two closets have active ceiling leaks and asked them to be checked and repaired - they painted over it instead. After two weeks of excuses and unfulfilled promises I asked for the work to be complete or my deposit and first month's rent returned - I was told I could only get back my deposit. I chose to stay because I can't afford to lose a month's rent right now. Surprise - none of the work was ever completed. 6 of 8 windows won't even close. I thought going to church with the owners would provide some semblance of an above the board business but I was sorely mistaken. These people are dishonest and only care about the money.

Everything about this property is top notch, excellent detail in appearance, safety, and access. We made a move helping my son into an apartment here this past weekend and it was flawless. Michelle Rose had all the paperwork organized and in place. Everything was clean--to my tough standards. We had help waiting (even though we ran late) to make sure we moved without issue. Herman the property manager jumped in to unload boxes, talk about above and beyond! Our valet Kadeem worked like a machine to help us unload and get trailers off the street. Even the neighbors down stairs at Mr. Ed's Oyster House made us feel welcome. It was a crazy exciting move, sight unseen, which really worried me. We made all arrangements without even a visit. No worry now at all. It's a fantastic place in a fantastic city where my son was received by kind hearted people without exception. The building was more beautiful in person than online.
