I've been a client of Kris Curtis' since I bought my home in Sequim in 2014. My mortgage company…read morepays Allstate for my homeowners insurance. I received a refund check in the mail from Allstate. When I contacted Kris to ask him why I received the check, he said it was a refund check because my policy was canceled in 2018. 2 years ago. Kris failed to contact me when my policy was canceled. I did not receive any mail or phone calls to notify me of this change to my policy. When I stopped by Kris' office with the refund check, he told me there was nothing he could do to help. He said he could offer me a new policy at 50% more than my old policy. I found him to be incredibly unhelpful. I would not recommend Kris Curtis. I went to other Allstate office and found another agent who was incredibly helpful and helped correct this problem.

I made an appointment to enroll in part D for medicare. Castell could have enrolled me over the…read morephone. The agent was interested in selling me a Medicare Advantage Plan instead. After 45 min, I was indecisive and left without purchasing medicare part D. The agent didn't follow up. Open enrollment closed. I was distracted by life events and didnt put on my calendar to follow up. The penalty is 1% per month of $32.74 for every month of delay. The next open enrolment will put me 10 months late. Every month, for the rest of my life, I will pay an annual penalty of $47.15 because I left the insurace agent without what I needed. This is the second time Castell has dropped the ball. I prefer to keep as much businous local as possible, but, really?

We have lived here since June 2017 but were never able to have the type of plan we had in Portland. We came into the office and James sat with us and went through everything we needed. I am so pleased with this company! Excellent service, excellent information and so much help. We saved $188.40 a month by switching to a much better insurance company.
