Simple things like getting a COI is impossible for them to get correct on the first 5 or 6 tries. It takes weeks to get someone to send you one and then it is wrong the first 5-6 times they send it. Either it doesn't list all the policies, or the boxes are not marked correctly, the dates are reflecting the expired policies, the thing isn't signed, they don't list the properties covered. I just don't understand when this thing has to be completed every 3 months because somehow all the policies don't line up date wise, how they can't keep a file with how it should be filled out and just update the dates. It shouldn't be this hard. Moving to another company.

My homeowners premiums increased in 2025 by 40% with no explanation or concern from Atlas. In July of 2025 I received a notice letter from Travelers notifying me that my homeowners policy would renew in August 2025, but the deductible for hail/storm damage claims was increasing to $2,500.00. Presumably this was due to hail damage roof claims in my area. The next month I became aware of hail damage to my roof and filed my first ever homeowners claim. Travelers denied the claim due to "wear and tear" ignoring photographs of hail damage. Travelers has now denied my appeal of the claim even with a public adjuster and an independent report showing multiple areas of hail damage. Several other homes in my neighborhood have had recent roof replacements due to hail damage. Other companies covered those claims on roofs the same are as mine. At the follow-up inspection for my claim appeal, the adjuster said he would "try to get it right this time" to get my claim approved. It was promptly denied again claiming vague "wear and tear" excuses. From my work expertise in the insurance industry, I know that brokers/agents can assist with claims if they want to help and keep your business. Atlas Insurance has taken no action to assist with this claim or support me in any way. They just assume they will continue to get my business and couldn't care less about my claim when I actually need coverage. Because I filed this valid claim that was denied in bad faith by Travelers, I will now be required to replace my roof out of pocket before I can change insurance carriers (and brokers) later this year. I have also never received some of the policy premium discounts that I was promised when I signed up with Atlas in 2020. Hopefully other people have experienced better treatment and service from Atlas and Travelers.

We have been customers of State Farm for 16 years and have never been treated with such…read moreindifference, poor customer service, and disrespect as we have just recently with a claim. My daughter's car was backed into in a movie theater parking lot by another State Farm insured driver. Well, actually the 18 year old was not on the policy but his father's vehicle was insured under his name through them. My daughter got the run around for two weeks, being given wrong information, not returning phone calls and general indifference. The police were called by my daughter, she received the drivers insurance card and the driver did not wait for the police to come and left. The police took my daughter's statement, noted the damage to her car and filed a report. When she did everything this agency asked her to do they agreed it was the other driver's fault and was told she could get an estimate and a rental car while in the shop. She got an estimate and that very day they told her to hold up and do not schedule the work. The other driver was denying he hit the car and sent pictures of his vehicle which showed no damage. My daughter explained that she and the police did not see any damage to his vehicle either but it was dark and raining. She had a crease and white paint (from his vehicle) on her car. Long story, after 3 weeks of incompetence they called today to say their adjusters said it was her word against his and they could not allow the claim. Thanks State Farm! Thanks David! We will fix it ourselves and find another company and another agent.
