Tom was a dual agent representing myself and the owner of the home I was purchasing. The MLS…read morelisting had the home listed as a 4 bedroom which was really what I wanted. After I purchased the house I realized there was no heat vent for this room. So I went online to the Real Estate rules for PA. This should never been listed as a 4 bedroom, legally it is a 3 bedroom. So I paid for 4 bedroom home and it's a 3 bedroom. All I wanted from Tom was for him to make it right and make it a legal 4 bedroom. he would need to enlarge the window to meet the standard for it to be used for an emergency exit and have the heat vent opened into this room. Instead what I got was his refusal to return my calls to discuss the situation, would not answer the calls when I called him. After quite some time he did call me back to scream at me, saying so what that there were only 3 bedrooms and to stop harassing him, stating no wonder my husband divorced me and hung up! meanwhile he knows nothing about me or my divorce. So he left me no choice and I have made a formal complaint to the licensing board for realtors, left this review and although I can't really afford a lawyer I will probably find one and try to get simple compensation for him to make things right which is not asking too much...
