Previous to this place, I used to have Chestnut Hill Family Practice as my primary. I was never happy with CHFP between the long waits and poor communication. Finally when I moved to Wayne back in the day I switch to this place, so I could have a more convenient provider. Best move I ever made! Unlike other providers, they have you get your blood work done before your yearly physical. This way your doctor has your results in hand when he conducts your physical and he can focus on any concerns the blood work may have revealed. Other places (like CHFP and where my wife currently goes) will do your blood work after your exam, and then you never hear from them. I like the way the doctor takes his time with me here. I love the short wait times too. It takes me 25 minutes to drive there from Chestnut Hill, but it's worth it. I remember waiting much longer than that, multiple times, at CHFP to receive inferior care. I highly recommend this place. Oh, another benefit with heading out there is parking is easy.

Mark says "Be you, but be the best you there is!" He has been the exception, since the first time we walked into the office and met him to every time since then, he has actually helped. By listening, actually hearing what we are saying to experiencing our feelings with us, and becoming not just a therapeutic source to our son, but a friend to our family. Mark is the "old friend" you need to talk to because he understands, listens, sympathizes, empathizes, and actually cares. In all of his many life experiences, he has most likely "been there, done that," and he knows where you are coming from. He will be your shoulder to cry on as well as the person who calls you out when you are out of line, and in truth we all need that in a real friend. I would recommend Mark Still to anyone that needs to be reminded of who they truly are by someone who is genuinely interested in your well being.

I know I am a difficult patient to treat but with patience, persistence and careful attention to my medical history, my concerns were addressed with thoughtful and thorough diagnostic procedures and alternative methods of care. I'm now fully functional which was not the case with prior providers. This provider will, when necessary, also consult and work with other providers. Likewise, other providers have also respected and worked with them in order to help me. The office staff is pleasant, courteous and easy to work with. Insurance coverage has never been a problem. Fees for services not covered by insurance are always clearly stated and discussed. Nurse Practitioner Lela Gould diligently provides ongoing care and treatment which has relieved many of my lifelong health issues. At every visit, she inquires about my general health and overall state of well-being, monitors recommended lifestyle and dietary changes and continues to monitor my body chemistry with appropriate blood tests. She also orders other tests and diagnostic procedures as necessary. Lela has a very caring manor, is extremely knowledgeable and happy to do background research to help me address my unique issues. We've been going to Dr. Lipton for about 20 years now and his evaluations and treatment are spot on. It's a pretty decent drive (distance & timewise) for us but it's worth the trip. His treatments vary per ailment or injury and he always follows up with us on results of scans, tests or blood work. He recommends preventative measures that we find very effective and neither my wife or I take any prescription medications and haven't for almost 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and continues to learn and evolve with the times and we would trust no other doctor as much as Dr. Lipton for advice and treatment.

Although this and the Penn Medical facilities I've used do a great job medically and service wise,…read moremy rating is based on their CONSTANT late billing of their patients for "PAID" co-pays. I have used the Penn Sports Medicine facilities for over 15 yrs and this practice continues to this day. What continues to happen is months after your appointment, you receive a bill in the mail for your co-pay. But keep in mind, you won't be seen w/o paying your co-pay first. They are banking on you not having your receipt to dispute the bill. I've gotten ripped off by this routine at least 3 times over a 15 yrs period bec I could not find or did not get a receipt during my visit. Penn's billing department or system makes sure that you're not contacted before at least a 4 month period has passed. This has happened to my wife as well repeatedly over the years. And if you do not have "your" receipt, they simply do not have a record of your cash payment. So do yourself a favor and pay via debit or credit card or keep your receipts for at least a year because they will try you. SHAMEFULL

Since he takes such good time with his patients, you tend to wait a bit. But it's worth it since the care he gives is incredible. Note, he is very thorough (Maude Lebowski would be proud) so you may end up going for some more tests than you'd normally get. But I trust him and his opinion 100%
