Dr. Golbin helped me greatly improve my sleep issues. He is an AMAZING doctor because of the…read morefollowing reasons. a) At my first appointment, as well as the subsequent appointments, he took the time to listen and hear my side of the story about my medical history instead of just looking at my previous medical records and making a quick snap judgement about how to treat me. b) If Dr. Golbin has you take a test like an overnight sleep study, EEG, or prescribes you medication, he takes the time to explain everything to the patient in a way that they will understand why he is doing it. Most doctors I have been to just want to get you in and out fast to bill as many appointments as possible, but Dr. Golbin is not like that. He really cares about his patients and getting them better. c) Dr. Golbin is a good man. I see it in the way he treats me, his office staff, etc... At the end of the day, a doctor's job is ultimately to fix or manage the patient's symptoms. But at the same time, it really means a lot to me that I know Dr. Golbin became a doctor to help people, and not just because he wanted to make a lot of money and have a prestigious job. Thank you Dr. Golbin and your entire staff. I prescribe you good luck! With gratitude, Scott

He doesn't look at me as if I was a scientific puzzle to solve. Rather, he recognizes my uniqueness at the human level and builds the partnership needed to both better diagnose my condition and to give more effective feedback to me. He is always very timely with appointments. I've never been rushed in any way. He will be the first to tell you that he is not a mixologist at a saloon. Prescribing the most effective solutions is paramount to him, he's not one to "see what happens". Dr. Golbin's tremendously vast background, thoroughness and true care for his patients make it easy for me to highly recommend him.

Definitely echo the other reviews so far on Yelp!…read more Kelly. Is. Amazing. We were having the hardest time finding a good nights sleep for our 9 month old. We read several books and found ourselves making some progress but getting confused as to the nuances of applying the techniques. All still never getting our kid to sleep through the night without waking up 2-3 times for minutes to hours. We were looking for someone that would help us and not follow a full-extinction methodology from the get go. After looking around at some yelp reviews, facebook mom groups, and Weissbluth sleep offerings, we decided to do a consult with Kelly. She did a phone consult with us to understand where we were at so that she could determine what approach we should best follow should we work with her. Kelly then scheduled time to come out to see our place and our nursery and to talk through starting the sleep training. She also provided a shared spreadsheet and sleep plan that she would follow and adjust with us as needed. We were apprehensive about how it would all go but we gave it a go and our little guy slept through the whole night on the first night. Kelly helped us have confidence in what we had taught our baby so far and how far we could stretch it to improve his self-soothing skills. As our 3-weeks with Kelly proceeded, we had weekly check in calls and were able to text her with any questions that came up as we navigated moving from 3 naps down to 2 daily naps and a slightly fluid bedtime. We're at the end now and while sleep isn't perfect yet, we now have a baby that sleeps peacefully through the night and has 2 naps a day totaling between 2-3 hours. He falls asleep in 10 mins or less after we put him down, sometimes as fast as 2 mins. We feel confident we can get his sleep even more predictable on our own now. Did I mention that Kelly. Is. Amazing!

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!! For 3 years she did noting but have me sit in her office and…read moreevery single time she would ask me what supplements I was taking that she had given me. I paid her $10,000 and did not receive $10,000 worth of care. He sales pitch person PROMISED me and my husband that Dr. Goldman had a whole slew of Dr's she would be able to converse with/get opinions and help from so that she could help me. Um Ya, no that NEVER happened!! My tests found that I have lyme and mold toxicity. She admitted she did not know how to treat them, but would "read up on it". She decided on one protocol she wanted to follow, then changed to another one. She wanted to start me on a nasal spray for the mold. I asked her about clearing my detox pathways first and she says, "detox pathways have nothing to do with clearing mold." NOW I KNOW MYSELF, without any medical knowledge, that my detox pathways have to be clear to detox the mold. After that I told her I wanted a PARTIAL refund because she hadn't helped me and I did not trust that she could help me since she admitted she didn't know how to treat lyme/mold and she did not acknowledge the need for detoxing. She had the nerve to say to me that I want a refund because I was angry that no one has been able to help me. "UM NO I NEED a refund because I have to pay for someone else to help me because you DIDN'T." I asked for a refund because this woman did not have the decency to OFFER me money back knowing she could not help me!

Another warning about this quack. JUST DON'T!!…read more She'd get (-) if an option. The point of this extra review is to save anyone from working w/her, to avoid the agony I suffered as her patient, plus reminders to check all psych Rx for side effects. When I started working with her in 2003, I was 46 years old, 5'3", weighed 120-123 wore small/xtra small. Except for when I was pregnant, and the pregnancy weight fell off. I started noticing the weight gain in '05, 2 years or so later. It was creeping up gradually, like I was now an 8 not a 6. Not obvious or major denial. I put it down to being over 50 + post menopausal In 2008, I had to take a physical for a new job, which included getting weighed. I was aware I gained "some" weight, but didn't expect, to my shock and horror, to weigh 188, a huge 65-68 gain. Even worse, 12 pounds from My hair became brittle and stayed that way for months. My blood work, always w/in normal limits, spiked, especially triglycerides. Blood pressure increased. My cognitive skills sets were definitely affected-slower, w/decreases in concentration and memory. I became easily fatigued and mentally lethargic. I became far more depressed than when I started w/her, and ending up meeting criteria for obese and stores for plus sized clothing. I never said a word to her about it, b/c by now I hated her but needed her wrist. She said nothing to me, perhaps because she was chunky and possibly qualified as Obese. I tried to convince myself that at 58, I earned the privilege of eating whatever I wanted and having a pregnancy sized stomach. It didn't work. I joined WW in 2012 and owe them. I had no interest in group meetings, so I negotiated with a coach to get weighted once a week. 2012/13 it cost $10/week. IDK if this option for group meeting avoiders is still available. 5 years after joining WW, in 2017, I weighed 130 and fit into a 6. By 2018- 15 years later-I made it back to 120-123. Mind you-I was 52 when I started with her. It took me 9 years-to age 61-to return to myself. But she treats depression. My blood work especially triglycerides flew into the Red range. This creature with the initials M.D. Mass Destruction and worse also had a terrible admin staff. They were rude and very cavalier about giving her patients' messages. She was always late refilling my Rx, especially my Klonopin. One time, I was starting to go through withdrawals, and went to our pharmacy for help. They all hated her for her arrogance and indifference to patient care. The head pharmacist got her on the line and told her that I was going into withdrawals and reminded her that failing to so was medical malpractice. His wrath left her w/no response except the only one I wanted my Rx. I am glad to see that drug companies and the medical profession-especially psychiatrists-have stopped lying, by omission or just lying, about meds that are weight gainers, create alarming spikes in blood work and other serious side effects. I wrote a complaint to the IDFPR and as expected heard nothing. I was satisfied that the Board notifies all licensed professionals when they receive a complaint, which would disturb her composure. You may wonder why, after almost 20 years, I remain so bitter and full of rage. I saw her for family and work concerns, common for a woman in her mid-40's, and to alleviate minor and annoying depression symptoms. I ended up unrecognizable, with borderline severe blood work, decline in my cognitive skills sets, apathetic, lethargic and more adjectives. I lost almost a decade of me. In my favor is that with life-defining crises, I will never back down. JUST DON'T!!
