With a toddler, shopping in downtown Gatlinburg, you can imagine that their ability to ride and be patient especially with a new toy in hand is pretty low. She was taking the wrapper off of her toy when the incredibly hateful, snooty sales clerk came around the corner and very rudely said "you haven't paid for that ". We put our other items back on the shelf, paid for the squishy and left. I understand they may experience some theft issues but there is a right way and a wrong way to handle things and I feel that was incredibly wrong. You can't automatically assume the worst in people and talk down to people when you are operating a business based on sales.

Next to it is the gem mining which was top tier and really well priced and good value. Then next to that is this cute photo op / selfie area. (Free) I think it was called Bigfoot's country barn.
