Ushered to a room for full panoramic and bite wing X-rays...My fault, without thinking each thing they do comes at a cost. But I believe a professional office should inform you if the costs associated UP FRONT. Next, the friendly dentist, looked at the X-ray and immediately told me he would have to refer me to an endodontist and it would cost $1500 for a root canal!! THE FRIENDLY DENTIST NOR HIS ASSISTANT NEVER LOOKED IN MY MOUTH! They provided the appt information for the referral, a copy of my xrays and a bill for $310 DOLLARS! All told, I was there for maybe 20 minutes! I'm looking for an HONEST DENTIST, if you find one please let everyone know!

However, I had a great experience at my new dentist's office today. Dr. Chitra Nagaraj, BDS, DMD (2228 South Street, Leesburg, FL 34748, phone: 352-431-3570), is a graduate of Rutgers University. My appointment was scheduled for 9:15 a.m., and I arrived at 9:00 a.m. Immediately, I was greeted by a kind staff member who escorted me to the dental chair and proceeded with the X-rays. I explained that I had difficulty holding the X-rays in my mouth, and she was very considerate, ensuring I was comfortable. Her patience and care truly eased my anxiety, especially since I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years. After the X-rays were completed, Dr. Nagaraj entered the room for a thorough examination. She explained that I had a cracked filling and a small, raised bump in my mouth and detailed the steps I needed to correct these issues. I was particularly impressed by a few things: the office was immaculate, and Dr. Nagaraj cleaned my teeth instead of having a hygienist do it.
