Exhaust was left loose, hose clamp left off fuel tank, front wheel spaced incorrectly, pushrods not adjusted right, gas gauge not fixed, Mixed matched hardware on new parts, cross threaded bolts, horrible cylinder bore, parts I didn't ask for, a trash tune, never returned original parts, lost air cleaner, etc, etc. Having to have a different shop rebuild the engine as a result of the poor quality work this mechanic did. Edit to add, Thanks for the response, This work was done by Hugo, your partner under the same name in 2024. In his next to last threating and irate text message he said "Let me know what the F**k i owe you". I'm not holding my breath that a person that does this kind of work will follow through with that, but we shall see once repairs are completed. He knows exactly where the bike is being repaired, as he briefly worked there as well. Just want to give folks a heads up of who they are dealing with before they get raked across the coals like i have been. I have screen shots, pictures, and every message he has sent me from start to finish if anyone needs proof. His threats are stemming from me not taking the bike back to him (why would I do that again) and then letting people know about the issues I incurred online.

I also found several missing bolts and gas leaking after R&T. Not to mention the $800 rear wheel and fender that was damaged when the R& T used zip ties on the rear light he installed. I also found that R&T messed up my front forks when he supposedly changed my fork oil and springs. The seals he used were crap and only lasted about a month so everything had to be completely redone. Need the best shop in town? I recommend MOTIV Cycleworks as they were able to completely repair and in some instances upgrade the loom which was shredded beyond use by R&T. Do not used R&T unless you want terrible customer service and half-ass mechanic work.

John at R&T said the bike looked great and was good to go besides needing a new rear tube, which was negligible to me. I purchased the bike and was billed $75 by R&T for their service. Soon after, I was surprised to find a bolt connecting the rear subframe to the frame was not only missing but the place on the frame for the bolt to be screwed in to was broken off meaning it needed to be repaired via welding. I headed back to R&T to find out how this was missed, when I showed John the picture he said "no worries, we will get this fixed for you. Drop the bike off whenever". Given this response, I was under the impression this repair was going to be done for free since they missed an obvious issue. When I came to pick up the bike, I was surprised to learn I was going to be charged $305 for fixing an issue I had already paid them to find. When I expressed my dismay, John became defensive and began to rattle off all the stuff he had looked at on the bike, but never would fully accept blame for missing an obvious issue. He said "the seller didn't mention this issue to him" which is the ENTIRE reason I had the bike looked at by a professional. Had I known about this issue before the purchase, I would have had leverage with the seller to negotiate the price down. Instead, I was told the bike was "good to go". I explained all of this to John, but he was unwilling to do anything other than take $50 off my bill, less than the price of the low quality inspection.

Their prices were the best in town and I got a military discount. while they had the tire off the showed me my bearings were worn out and I told them go ahead an replace them, it was only another $30 for the bearings. they aloud me to stay there and watch them work on my bike, instead of hiding the mechanic area from me. all said and done my bill was only around $600. I walked in, walked through and office piled with dust covered documents (it looked like it was abandoned 20 years ago) then walked into a large motorcycle storage area, packed with all sorts of older bikes in various stages of disassembly, and only 10% or so looked like recent additions. The rest looked like they had not been touched in a decade. There was a counter in this area, and there were accessories hanging on racks, and they looked like they had not been touched in 20 years. The shop itself was at the end of this boneyard, but I did not want to just barge in. I was getting nervous about the place, then a very nice lady appeared and asked me the nature of my business. I introduced myself and stated my situation. She mentioned that she was the proprietor's wife, and she would relay my request to her husband and he would get in touch with me to discuss this further. He never did, which in hindsight was a good call. As I looked at pictures on the walls and other indicators, it was clear that this shop had an affinity for vintage flat track bikes. Ironically, in 1973 I raced a Bultaco Astro in Oklahoma City and surrounding tracks. Anyway, I needed a clutch pack replacement, electronic ignition install, full wiring harness replacement, and front brake overhaul along with tire replacement. That was clearly beyond their capabilities so I did it myself. I would have handed them a grand or more to do the work, but I don't think they could no matter what I would pay them, so I soldiered on and got my bike back on the road.

I've sent trucks in for repair that came back broken. When I look at the ticket, it says that they were unable to verify the issue. Unable to verify that the ignition was broken? Really? I didn't have any problem verifying that it was still broken when I picked up the truck. When I took the truck back, I asked the service adviser what the issue with the broken part was only to be palmed off on the cashier to explain to me what the service department did to fix my truck. Really? The service department isn't all underwhelming. The last two times I took my truck in for a repair, I was directed through the Fast Lane. Honestly, I felt relieved that I wouldn't have to go through their standard service advisers because I didn't think I could make another pass through there and maintain my sanity. The service staff in the Fast Lane are always very friendly and very interested in ensuring that I get my truck repaired correctly every time. They're also very good about keeping me informed about what's happening with my truck, which I sincerely appreciate. I'm fine with whatever they must do to repair my truck as long as they fix it and I don't have to make two or three trips back, but the communication with the dealership is always very nice because it allows me to plan more appropriately when the repair is complete. Honestly, the Fast Lane is the only reason I still use Reynolds Ford service. Were it not for them, I'd most likely find another dealer to service my truck while it's under warranty.

He decided that the brand new high volume oil pump on it needed rebuilt. Did not put it back together right, so the motor was sumping and not pumping any oil through it whatsoever. He told me to ride it home to The City from El Reno damaging a high end motor built by a reputable local engine builder. Steer clear of Cody's Clown Show!
