I applied for an office job at Jonesboro Memorial Gardens. Went in on a Monday for my interview and was told the job was mine. I was even offered an advance to be able to get the proper attire for this job. I spent $200 that I really didn't have to spend to get the clothes I needed to start work on Monday. When I hadn't received the emails I was told to be looking for from the hr department by Wednesday on Thursday I reached out to let them know I hadn't received the emails. After 2 messages I was finally told they decided to go another route. I wasn't even worth a phone call or a lousy email to inform me of this decision! And definitely wish I had taken the advance! Because not only did this cost me $200 but I turned down 2 other jobs under false pretenses that I already had his job! I can only hope this place of business treat its customers with more decency than it does its employees! read more
