To be honest it's disappointing that I can only rate Joni based off of 5 stars because I would rate her at 5000 ++. It's completely true and honest what her past clients have said on her ratings. Joni is a lawyer like no other I have met in the past. When I acquired my case this past march, to say the least I was extremely upset because I had the typical defense; I'm not guilty and I didn't do anything. With so much on my mind with regular life sh.. getting this case against me was the last thing I needed, so when my wife told me about Joni and said "you gotta call her...her reviews all say she's great, but also both my brothers have used her in the past". Right away I though; oh ya sure and they sure came out of there cases great( without even ever taking the time to find out how there case went) but at the time I was upset and negative towards everything. That night tho I gave Joni a call and although she had a lot of good things to say, which made me feel ...ok a lil more sure of things, I still had that distrust. Like a bozo I went to my first court without a lawyer. I was thinking for sure my case would get dropped or reduced to a misdemeanor, but nope nothing went as I hoped. That same day as I left the court with another date to appear; I called Joni and after hearing an earful from her as to why I went to court without hiring a lawyer and that this was a serious matter, immediately after I hung up with her I said to myself " damn I really like her already, just because she had taken a fresh chunk out of my ass from the ass chewing. I mean a chunk she wasn't chewing nothing...she had her choppers out! When I finally met up with her at my next court day, I knew I had the perfect lawyer on the job and I was so grateful to have her and more grateful to my wife for finding her but even a greater gratefulness for my brother in laws to have gotten in trouble that they had to find her...jk. For real Joni is truly amazing as a lawyer but more as a person. She is just so real and holds nothing back and will be completely honest with you no matter if she tells you something that will make a grown man cry like a 10 year school girl! Joni is a badass not only did she get my case dismissed but she also continued to help me with obtaining my property back, something most lawyers won't do without having there hand out..shit I probably should wait to get my bill before I say this. Jk. Joni is truly the best lawyer I have met the best for any case that lies ahead for anyone. I love the way she is so down to earth and real and just an all around nutt buster. The other day I walked into her office...she says; " come on in Rich" She sits back in her chair all low rider, throws her feet up onto her desk...no shoes on and said; " so what's up". That's what I truly love about her, she makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed and not make you feel like your talking to a lawyer but more as tho your just shooting the shit with your homie. Don't get it wrong tho cause she's like a chameleon and can be a professional point dexter type as the best lawyer in the same room. Like I said I would rate her at a 5000+++ if I could. When I found myself in an unfortunate situation, I was worried and did not know what to do or where to go. Upon visiting my bail bondsman, I discovered that I was issued a felony for my first DUI. He recommended speaking with multiple attorneys sooner than later to start planning my case. Joni saved my life!! Conclusions first, she charged me with the lowest price I was able to find AND got my high speed ticket dismissed completely! I got caught with a high speed ticket over 100mph. This event was very catastrophic to me as I was going through very tough times. I was getting quotes from the internet and other law offices, but I found Joni who has stellar reviews on both Google and Yelp, and when I contacted her office, her charge was $100 cheaper than the lowest quote I got from other offices! Ms. Eisenstein came to my aid with legal advice after I could find no one else to guide me - and I will be eternally grateful. The woman is the consummate professional - her guidance provided me a successful way to navigate a difficult appeal process. Thing is she is human, and has a caring attitude about your legal problem. Most lawyers don't allow you to relate fully all facets of your case once they believe they have grasped your issue. But complicated legal issues like an appeal of a wrongful conviction due to cops not only lying under oath (which they do all the time) but actually refusing to deliver subpoenaed body cam videos that would have proved the defense's case, require far greater explanation. You don't have to be Al Capone to need a criminal defense lawyer, you don't even need to be arrested. I discovered this when I received a ticket for my tires squealing while making a tight U turn at 5mph on fresh blacktop in a parking lot. It turns out he cited me for a misdemeanor that I could settle in traffic court for 2 points and a lot of fines, or plead not guilty in criminal court. Neither of those were good options, not to mention the fact that I was not guilty of doing what the officer cited me for. Joni did a great job for my boyfriend. He has a checkered past and was looking at a potentially long stay in prison. Editing the review after phone call with Ms. Eisenstein. I received a violation for 'failure to follow a sign' made a left turn onto a street during a 'no turns' time. I have four children with developmental disabilities- one with a rare medical condition who the night before I got the ticket was very sick. I was honestly too tired to even fight it with the police officer who pulled me over. I found Ms. Eisenstein and read the reviews for her. She was extremely kind on the first phone call. I thought I'd get off on a warning... She really did take genuine interest in my situation, learned a little about my kids. She wasn't able to get me out of the ticket- unfortunately. (I admitted to the police officer that I saw the sign and made the turn anyway... kind of thinking me being honest about it would work in my favor. It did not).
