Well I waited until the last minute to ask her if she was free, and it turned out she was going out of town. She had also moved out of the area. On a whim, I happened to read Saleta's post in a Local Fort Worth Group. Her sample pictures were exceptional and I loved the Stockyards setting. It made me so nervous to send money electronically! When I messaged Saleta, she was so quick to respond, she understood my being nervous, and she was so excited to work with us for my daughter's special day. They were super sweet when we requested they make sure to write out for us that we will be receiving the money back after the photoshoot completes. I did get the money back a few days after and was super happy with mostly everything! The only catch is that even though it is advertised as winning a "free" portrait you do actually have to just pay shipping to receive it. So I got back most of the deposit, minus $37. We felt it was worth it but definitely something to keep in mind as it's not an insignificant amount of money! We did ask if we could pick it up instead since we live locally and didn't anticipate spending any money like they had led me to believe when specifying it was completely free but they manufacture the portraits outside of the state so without paying to have it shipped we wouldn't receive it. Definitely docked a star for it out of lack of transparency on just that front but we really are looking forward to it arriving (in 6 months) and loved the experience, the photographers especially made it so fun! From the owner: Quality and passion is top priority! Each event will be met with a slightly different flare…read more Depending on the event, an acoustic set up or electric set up will be used. In a smaller more intimate setting, you are likely to find Lindsey playing acoustic, while a larger or outdoor event might call for an electric set up. You may only need 30 minutes of music before an event or during an intermission to fill the halls and venue with a little mood. On the other hand, you may need a couple hours of music for a longer event, fitting perfectly in to the background. An electric set up might be the best for this. Music will vary per event, but will be developed from a repertoire of rock and pop favorites from different decades, folk and acoustic favorites, some classical flare, folk fiddle tunes of various styles, themes and movies, and even video game and anime music! For some events, Lindsey will play seated and off to the side, while others she might be standing with her music, closer to the event attendees to provide a more interactive stroll feel. Finding the best plan for your event is key. You plan the party, Lindsey will handle the background music.
