Another example of the amazing value they/he offer. The wing mirror on my Land Rover was clipped by another vehicle at speed and was knocked off and just hanging there. Quotes were crazy to repair it. Went so see Simon and he called to ask the cost of a replacement mirror which is what was recommended by others - £1,200!!! Then it would have gone be painted and installed. He said - bring it in Monday and I think I can fix it for you. Sure enough he did!! Cost £97 and 6 months later it is still perfect!!

Really nice, genuine guy who doesn't try to upsell, who charged me a really fair price for front axle discs and pads fitting (which I supplied). The front n/s caliper had rusted, so Steve sourced a replacement by the following morning after a phone consultation (he happily showed me the old part to show me its poor condition). The sort of trustworthy local mechanic who will tell you what you need to keep an eye on without being pushy about additional work, and who even freed up a n/s rear seized rear brake cylinder for no extra charge. Great attention to detail, as he noticed some issues with the car which were down as advisories on previous MOTs, but which hadn't been picked up on this time! I'll be going back if I have any future problems for sure.

Took my car in for an mot (which was slightly overpriced at £45). Quoted £95 for the repair to 1 item which I agreed to and told them not to fix the second as I would return with my tools to fix (was a simple case of securing an earth). Once I arrived with my tools 30 mins later, they had fixed the item I told them not too and were just about to start on the second. The work took longer than expected and then I was greeted with a bill of just over £180 for the work on both items (despite telling them not to do some of the work) I put my view across to the staff member on reception (possibly manager) who was fairly rude and aggressive in his response. The work done was to a reasonable standard but I will not be returning.

The price of the rescue was also a surprise to me, at a small £30, my friends had told me they were expecting prices of £150+. Once th car was at the garage Steve, I presume the owner, was vey helpful and told me he'd give me a call an wouldn't do the anything without my say so, he then kindly gave me a lift to the train station ad I had to get to Portsmouth still. The work was all done within a day, but I couldn't get back to Coventry for another 4 days and they had no problems with keeping it there or me. I decided that as it was in the garage anyway I might as well get the AC re-gassed as they did I for £40 which I understand to be cheap. Overall the work done on the car seemed a good price, I didn't once feel I was getting ripped off, and the staff were friendly and helpful. So I'd be more than willing to recommend them!
