We hired this company for an interstate move from Florida to Missouri. At pickup, after our belongings were already loaded onto the truck, we were informed of additional charges and required to pay by cash or money order. We were also told that if we did not comply, our belongings would be placed into storage at a rate of $250 per day. At that point, we had no real ability to decline or make alternative arrangements, as our items were already in their possession. Weeks later, while our belongings were still in their control, we were informed of an additional $1,000 "shuttle fee," again without any practical ability to refuse. When delivery was eventually made, the movers indicated they drove the same truck from Florida to our location, which raised serious concerns about whether that charge was legitimate. Delivery was also late beyond the 14-business-day contractual window. When our belongings finally arrived, they were in unacceptable condition. Three boxes were missing. A treadmill that was fully functional before the move is now non-functional, missing parts, and visibly damaged. A framed picture arrived shattered, with broken glass spread onto other belongings. Canvas artwork was scratched, and additional items, including a mannequin and decor pieces, were damaged. We also discovered that one of our boxes had been opened and repacked. The box was wide open, the contents were not packed the way we originally packed them, and the protective materials we used were missing. Fragile artwork had been placed at the bottom of the box with a heavy tote on top. Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. We made multiple attempts to contact the company via email and phone and did not receive meaningful responses or clear updates. We also reviewed the company's USDOT and MC registrations in the FMCSA database. Based on our review at the time, the registration did not appear to show proper authorization for interstate household goods transportation, which raised additional concerns. Additionally, based on our research, the business appears to operate under different names. At the time of writing this review, we found references to the name "Best Relocators," which added to our concerns about transparency and consistency. Overall, this experience involved unexpected charges after our belongings were taken, delayed delivery, missing items, damaged property, opened and repacked boxes, and a lack of communication. I strongly recommend that anyone considering a moving company do thorough research in advance. Verify USDOT/MC numbers directly on the FMCSA website, confirm that the company is properly authorized for interstate moves, and ensure a consistent, verifiable business presence. If anything seems unclear or inconsistent, it is best to walk away and choose another provider.

I asked for an estimate and in less than 5 hours they had already sent me an estimate and possible time slots to decide when was convenient for me to have them clean my garage. I called several companies, but DDJR offered me the best price; later on, while they were engaged in the work, I realized they knew what they were doing. They came two days after I contacted them; about 8am they were at my door asking if they were able to start. By 1pm they had removed all the junk, cleaned the garage floor and walls, loaded the junk in their truck, and I was ready to say goodbye forever to my junk. Matias, the owner, is a courteous, friendly yet professional guy that took his job seriously; the guy working with him followed his direction so there was no idle time for which I was charged. Several times I showed my face by the garage to find out how things were going and while Matias explained to me how the decloaking process was going, the other guy kept working. They brought the necessary equipment and utilized the time effectively. Additionally, I got a really good price. I searched on Yelp for someone local and Family Moving has 5 stars so I gave them a call. I thought they'd have to come out and give me a quote but Susie helped me out on the phone. She asked me to explain the size of the condo and how much furniture and then told me she would send over 3 guys. They charge by the hour and there is a 3 hour minimum. She happened to have a day the following week available so I booked them. Three young men showed up right on time and got right to work. I honestly thought they would be moving slowly to try to get the price up but they were quick and efficient. They wrapped a couple of glass shelves I was starting to wrap on my own - I didn't realize that was included! Once they got to my home on the other side with my hubby they were just as quick and efficient. He even asked them to help out moving a piece of furniture that we had in a room that we needed moved to another room and it was no problem at all. They wound up getting it all done in 3 hours and 15 minutes. We tipped them handsomely as we really appreciate great work ethic and attitude. I would highly recommend this company for any move you have in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.

Got an email that they were sorry and because of some insurance thing they offer it only goes by the weight of the item and even though that marble table was heavy they only gave us 70$ and a crappy apology. I told them that it was a 900$ table and got a "well that's how we do things here sorry not sorry response. Well after another year we needed to move from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom in the SAME apartment complex. So my wife and I being probably too nice of people said the guys were really good and we can't control the crappy management let's give them another chance. 2 more guys showed up. Went straight to work. Worked hard. I was keeping a close eye on them but obviously can't watch everything. Load up and drive 30 seconds over to the new building and they start unloading. Well they ended up breaking a nightstand, bed frame and stained the side of our couch. My wife ended up cleaning the side of the couch herself. We got a new nightstand and our bed frame is still cracked but holding up. The guys felt bad again and apologized but at this point my wife and I were just over it. No point to file a claim. We'd be lucky to get probably 20$. Stay away guys. Pay the extra 50-100$ and go with a quality company who cares about your stuff. We definitely will next time. We tried to save some money and it cost us in the end. Don't make the same mistake me made TWICE. My wife and I understand that you have to run a business and we weren't looking for 900$, but 70$ and half hearted apology is unacceptable.
