Jorge painted my pool deck ($210) in Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club and returned 8 months later to power wash the deck and lanai. At that time the paint came loose and peeled all over the deck. Upon returning to Florida I called him and told him I wanted my money back. He became indignant and told me, "That's not how I operate", and hung up on me. After speaking to our neighborhood association secretary, who had recommended him to us, he changed his tune because she told him she would not be using him again if he didn't solve this. I told him I wanted to go back to the original paint used by U.S. Homes, and he agreed to use it and reimburse me $160 if I ordered it. He came back, as the paint manufacturer recommended, and did another wash to get off as much of the loose paint as possible. When I called him to tell him that I wanted to be reimbursed, he told me he was deducting $50 for removing the loose paint. At that point I told him I was all done with him, he did not need to repaint, but he did need to send me my money. I emailed him weeks later giving him one more chance to reimburse me or I would be giving him some very bad reviews. To date he has not sent me a check nor has he responded to my emails. When I spoke to our Association Secretary, today, she assured me JORGE WOULD NOT be working for us EVER again. read more
