They said they told our friend who raises the pig that any pig w/o a cut sheet gets the standard butchering. We were not told this and I'm checking with my friend to see if she remembers this. The situation could have been easily solved with a swap of ham for unseasoned pork. I was told I was missing a piece of ham when I showed up to swap. I live 30 minutes away and they told me they would not do anything unless I produced the missing ham piece. So that would have been 3 round trips total (each an hour). Apparently they have enough customers. No give, no negotiation. So due to a mixup I have 40lb of ham I won't use, and none of the ground unseasoned pork I was hoping for. The person I talked with gave me the distinct impression she thought I was trying to con her. I was just trying to find a win/win that would keep me as a customer. Sad it worked out this way.

This store is nice and clean and the staff members are all awesome. On my first trip this year I couldn't find one of the things I needed and a very nice guy ran and got me what I needed from their stock room. A gal did the same thing for me on my last trip. The first two times I was there a very nice guy by the name of Nathan rang up my purchase. He was just so nice and personable! The last time a gal by the name of Jaci rang me up. She was very nice too. This store has fantastic deals. A lot of the items (not all) are close dated, so you need to pay attention. If I purchase any meats close dated I just throw them in the freezer when I get home. I've never had an issue. You can save some serious money here. We're getting ready to head back to Florida now so I will need to wait until next year to score more good deals. I will definitely be back!
