I walked in and started looking around. The store was having a sale on boots, $20 bucks off select pairs. They also had some clothing and a large wall of Stetson hats. I began to peruse the multiple shelves of boots looking for the perfect pair. There was a ton to choose from. A young lady did approach me and asked if I needed any help and I said I was fine. She told me if I needed anything, I could just ask. She then let me be in my search for boots. Another employee also came up and asked if I needed anything. I had finally found a pair of boots but as my luck would have it, they were not selected for 20 bucks off. The employee suggested I take a look at their website, and if they were cheaper online, they would price match for me. (The employee also told me they were not supposed to tell me that but hey, they made a sale,) Sure enough, they were. The boots were $169 in store and $149 online. If i needed another pair of boots and was in Tallahassee, I'd go here first.

Kohl's is a hidden gem and constantly has great bargains as well as "Kohl's cash" deals. Many stores that offer such deals require you to have a minimum purchase but with a $10 Kohl's cash (for instance), you could spend $12, use the $10 and be out of the door only paying $2. I recently did it for a jacket for a baby boy. This location is spaced out on two levels and has every department from clothes for all types, housewares, jewelry, shoes, athletic attire, hair products, and a huge selection of FSU gear. It's also easy to order online and pick up in the store. TIP: returns and online pick up and upstairs! Don't make the mistake I made of waiting in the regular line to make a return only to be told that I had to go upstairs.

I had to pay extra for a $15 gown bag when my dress was already 1000+ (not their fault but should be included considering the price) and got three color swatches and a tote bag. They didn't educate me that when I want to make a payment on my dress that I have only two options, 1.) pay in store or 2.) pay over the phone with manager assistance. I live about 2 hours away so the phone is clearly the best option. They continue to call me wanting payment on my card when there should be a zero balance had they credited my account for the boots. they keep adding late charges to my account. Torrid not only has stylish plus size clothes, but clothing sizes 10 and up. Their size 10 and 12 are not the same as 10 and 12's in a regular misses clothing store, but run a bit larger. However, Torrid does well fitting many women with differing shapes and lengths of pants (Petite, regular, long). The sales attendants are always so friendly as well. With malls quickly shrinking and stores closing, I do hope Torrid remains.
