I haven't had the pleasure of working with the firm Kernutt Stokes, but I did call to inquire about their services and had a great 40 minute conversation with Mr. Hoyt, who is a partner at the firm. To make a long story short, I ultimately learned that Kernutt Stokes is probably better suited for larger or more advanced companies than for providing the services such a simple business as mine requires at this time. Even though they would gladly work with me, I was gently advised that I could possibly find someone more tailored to the more simple needs of my fledgling business. I greatly enjoyed speaking with Jeff and really appreciate the friendly, genuine, and honest discussion he had with me, especially for such a long time. Should my business grow to the point that their services are more warranted, I will definitely be doing business with them!

They forget to mention to have the exact check they printed for you in there office ! There money cash no good . Then read the very fine print in the APR . 34 percent a month on that loan adds up quick to a lot of damn interest you're paying . 1500 $ borrowed and over 10k paid so far Wtf right? But that is also due to them putting there personal charge of an unknown insurance company on the rig you use as collateral . Your insurance which I have full coverage with Allstate is not adequate enough and if ya dispute there charges they will garnish you the amount they overcharge you ! Please read there papers thoroughly and if at all possible find someone else ! This dang place is wrong ! It's wrong what they do for no other reason than greed ! And I hear greed is kind of a bad way to go about your life ? I may be wrong but I could Never do what they do for a living !

After the usual place my wife has our taxes done epically failed, I decided to seek out someone…read morelocal (that *wasn't* H&R Block). I picked Tax Services Plus. We went in for our appointment, presented our mountain of paperwork (including my interesting stock sales...which was the failure point for the other place). Crystal Hawley took careful notes, ran the figures and gave us an estimate of both how much it'd cost to get our taxes done as well as how much we could hope to get back. She wasn't *completely* certain of the stock sale, however, and said she'd double check *before* filing. She worked with the rest of the people in the office (and even a trusted financial adviser with another company!) and they finally deciphered the voodoo magic that E*Trade did with my stocks, and armed with this extra knowledge, managed to almost DOUBLE the refund we're getting. Hooray for not getting taxed *twice* on something! The fees they charged were quite fair, in my opinion. They don't try to nickle and dime you to death, and they didn't charge anything extra for trying to figure out my stock sale taxes, as other places wanted to do. We *will* be going back from here out to get our taxes done here!
