Got a quote for another company they carry. I should have gone elsewhere all together. Long story short, my new policy saved me no.money once all the mistakes the agent made quoting my rate were corrected. I ended up with four different policies ALL wrong. My mortgage company has paid the premium on two of them since they did not cancel them properly and we are now waiting for a refund on one. The worst part is we found out from the mortgage company we were actually without insurance for two weeks due to their screw up and the mortgage company was going to buy gap coverage and charge us. I called and texted this agency multiple times about their error and received not one response. I cannot say one good thing about them. Steer clear. Do not use them unless you want two months of headaches straightening out their errors.

I have since gotten our insurance switched to another carrier for more than half of what Farmers offered. They also had our house on a concrete slab and we have a full finished basement. So a quick Google search found me Glenn Barath. I talked with him by phone and was very impressed with him. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He had answers to all my questions and I had many of them! It is not an easy decision to switch insurance companies. And there are so many agents out there. But I felt very comfortable talking to him. He was honest and did not try to sweet-talk me. He was able to give me a quote within 15 minutes of talking. A quote that saved me more than I thought possible. And there was no pressure after he gave the quote. He told me to take time and think about switching if I needed to. And that is rare these days. I wound up speaking over the phone to a lady named Del who is the main proprietor of LTS. She wasn't sure at first why I needed her help but she did schedule a time for me to go to LTS to discuss my issue. The appointment time was at 12:30 PM on a Tuesday. The main assistant presented me with a form to fill out stating my reason for visiting. I saw Del working with another customer and there was another person waiting inside. So by the time Del came to me, it was almost 1PM. I presented my info and she asked pertinent questions about my situation to get a better understanding. After a minute she finally understood and explained the tax and penalty implications of what would happen if I would sell the shares and gave some advice on best approach. She also gave a brief career history at the end. Overall the service was A-OK and helped me in making a decision on my situation. I would likely look to use her next year for my taxes if I'm not able to figure out all the forms needed to file both IL and IN state tax forms.
