Magic...that's what is here...magic. I'm not sure how to describe Joshua Tree Imports beyond that. Perhaps: "An eclectic collection of artifacts and natural treasures from around the world." Quartz crystal, polished stones, fossils, carvings, tables and plates made from fossils, exotic vases and jewelry made from meteorites. Actually there are two halves to Joshua Tree Imports - one is the retail side where everything described above and more is available at a great value. The other side is "the collection" where the items are both spectacular and not for sale. Along with an array of incredible and large fossils is an astounding collection of meteorites and meteor fragments. I have never been anywhere where so many extreme treasures are available to actually touch (see image)! Meteors are so special and rare - this is too cool I don't know the story of Joshua Tree Imports, but it seems as though someone has been collecting a long time and their personal collection had to be shared. Fabulous hidden treasure! Terry was kind enough to show us around the Museum - his excitement is contagious. We couldn't believe everything that is housed there. There are sliced open meteorites, tons of trilobites, and various other fossils and rare dinosaur skeletons. Definitely worth a visit. Free entry, but donations are encouraged and very much deserved. read more

I visited this Museum/store a few years ago and as a RockHound was mesmerized by everything.Beautiful creations of Mother nature filled the shelves!! i wanted everything in it and especially enjoyed the minerals which glowed in colors under the Black light. I must go back and see whats new in there !! If you have children take them to see earths treasures!! Joshua Tree Imports is a wonderful place to visit and while there be sure to purchase something to remind you of your visit, i bought three tropical fish mineral sculptures , which florescent when under a black light. The jewelry is neat too!! read more
