When you walk in, you'll find the shop with bottles of cider to buy, a peek into where they make their cider, and an area about the history of cider. Walk upstairs to a beautiful dining room with a balcony. Since the main space was full of bus tourists, we sat on the balcony with sweeping views of the water.
Of course we ordered the cider tasting. It comes with five generous pours of sweet, dry, berry, dessert, and one like a sour ale. My wife and I split the tasting.
For lunch, our nine-year-old daughter LOVED the meat pie. Our friend raved about the chicken salad (and they were able to make it gluten free). My wife and I split the baked brie, which wasn't very much food, but still tasty.
Overall, we loved our experience. The only thing to note is how expensive everything is here. That is typical in Norway, but this place was unusually pricey.
