He repeated back everything that I had requested and even made some suggestions that were very helpful. To my surprise he started on the project pretty quickly and kept me updated ( with pictures ) as to the progress of it. That's excellent customer service. Now as to the quality of the project. One word. Excellent. The welds were perfect. I'm big on detail and I looked these tables over from top to bottom. Quality material, measurements were precise, and well balanced. I'm more than pleased with everything. It was a great experience all around. I'm definitely going to go directly here for all my future metal fabrication needs. I saved the question/answer about price for last, because quality of work comes first. The price was very reasonable and the quality of work will show for a lifetime. We bought our house from them in 2014. I will admit the house is pretty, but the construction was…read morepretty shoddy and some of the things we've uncovered over the years have been downright fraudulent. First when we bought the house we had an obvious issue with hot water. That there was none. Miguel came out to fix and they ended up installing a new water tank. Still no luck. After some back and forth they hired a plumber who fixed the problem (which was an improperly installed water line by Miguel) who told us they originally asked them to do the plumbing work but didn't want to pay for it, so they did it themselves. Incorrectly. We had some things we asked them to fix before close. One was we identified a number of rotten boards on the deck and they agreed to replace them with new boards. a couple of months later a contractor came and looked at the deck and he made it clear that more than likely they just flipped the boards over or filled them with something and re-painted them. No replacements as they had communicated. One of the the things they added was foam insulation to the house. Which the inspector told us was done incorrectly, when work to the attic was done during the flip. Recently we had the AC completely replaced and during the process the company replacing it noticed a litany of problems with the work they had done. One was actually creating a hole in the roof to vent off CO instead of doing it properly. Which was possibly a danger to our children. The other was that when they installed the foam insulation they neglected to attach the ventilation to the back third of the house. So no AC was reaching those rooms and that's why it seemed hot. Again, I think Carrie has an aesthetic, but Miguels construction skills / experience is inadequate, and some of the things we've uncovered show a complete lack of integrity or attention to detail. After a few years and many thousands of dollars I hope we've uncovered all of the issues.

As far as their homes are concerned, they're custom and a perfect mix of modern/contemporary with traditional elements. Simply put- they're gorgeous! They're so gorgeous in fact, that they're not easy to get. There's high demand for beautiful homes with like-new feel in neighborhoods like Northwest Hills. The home in NW Hills wasn't new, so of course there's going to be little things here and there but they're quick to respond to requests and work with you, just like any other house buying experience. Heck, even new builds have disclosure statements and regular track home builders usually won't budge at all with requests. Bottom line: There's a reason why their houses sell. They're beautiful, well designed, and the attention to detail is out of this world. Don't let some sour grapes reviews stop you from looking into their work!

I unfortunately did not read the reviews in detail before deciding to hire Levi and Finn Wood Flooring. I could write a book about the awful communication, but let's just say that this company has no customer service orientation--Levi actually told me I was "ridiculous" to express concern about the job. His guys were really nice but they did not cover any of the cabinets in the kitchen or pantry as Levi assured me they would. He scheduled a much bigger (more important) job over mine and delayed starting mine knowing we had already moved out. I ended up with a floor in a color I do not like, with big white spots from the sanding everywhere. He would not even come look at the floor though I asked him to. We never saw him after the initial sales call. Overall not a good experience at all. I would give one star but I liked the guys he has working for him.

We recently used Finley's Fences again after an extremely stressful situation where a car crashed…read morethrough multiple backyard fences in the middle of the night. It left debris, car parts, and major fence damage everywhere, and with pets at home we needed help quickly. While we were being told by insurance and HOA that repairs and cleanup could take days to start, Zach came out almost immediately to help us figure everything out. Not only did he quote and repair the fence quickly, but he personally handled the debris removal as well -- even though that's not normally a service he offers. He simply added it to the project at a very fair price so we could make our yard safe again as soon as possible. This is actually the second time we've worked with him. He originally installed our fence a couple years ago, handled all the HOA approvals smoothly, and did excellent work then too. Zach is responsive, honest, reasonably priced, and genuinely cares about helping people. We're incredibly grateful for how quickly he stepped in during such a chaotic situation.
