Buyer beware! If you look at these 5 star ratings you will see that most of the reviewers are in other states. I don't know if he pays for reviews but I know some of his Google reviews are written by family and employees. I unfortunately did not read the reviews in detail before deciding to hire Levi and Finn Wood Flooring. I could write a book about the awful communication, but let's just say that this company has no customer service orientation--Levi actually told me I was "ridiculous" to express concern about the job. His guys were really nice but they did not cover any of the cabinets in the kitchen or pantry as Levi assured me they would. He scheduled a much bigger (more important) job over mine and delayed starting mine knowing we had already moved out. I ended up with a floor in a color I do not like, with big white spots from the sanding everywhere. He would not even come look at the floor though I asked him to. We never saw him after the initial sales call. Overall not a good experience at all. I would give one star but I liked the guys he has working for him. read more

After general contracting the building of our home, we had our share of great, good, and awful contractors. Levi and his team are top notch. We chose a beautiful strand eucalyptus engineered wood flooring for our great room. Although it was a very pretty and, with it's aluminum oxide finish, very tough in terms of scratch resistance, the ends and the tongue and groove sides of the boards were very water sensitive. Within a year of the dog dribbling from her water bowl, we had swelling and buckling in some of the cracks (see before & after pics). Levi quoted us a very fair price and assured us that his team with modern tools and equipment could get the coating off edge to edge, (all the way to the baseboards), take out the micro-bevel between boards, and that the end result would be the custom floor look that we were after in the first place. We are in the midst of a remodel and decided at the last minute to refinish our hardwood floors. We have white oak shorts that were meticulously installed by the previous owner and we were looking for someone who really knew what they were doing. I'm sooooo glad we found Finn Wood Flooring. I have a 3,800 sq foot home and decided to have the hardwood floors redone and have the distressing removed. Had 4 estimates (including the company that originally installed the floors) and decided to go with Finn Wood Flooring. Levi, the owner was very, professional, knowledgeable and knew exactly what we did not like about the floors that had been installed by a different local company a few years ago. Levi's estimate was spot-on. The decision was made that day and decided to have them do the floors while we were gone for 2 weeks. Levi left us with a sample color chart and said they would put 4-6 samples of our choice on the current floors. Levi's attention to detail is impeccable and he even came back twice for final coats, so we knew exactly what the floors would like. We were away for 13 days, gave them a key, secondary alarm code and were promised the floors would be finished upon our return. Having used a competitor and not satisfied with the quality of work in the past, I highly recommend Finn Wood Flooring. I also recommend moving out while the floors are being done. They were willing to do one floor at a time, but we had a trip scheduled, so it worked out and very happy it did. read more
