We called and were able to get two replacements quickly and for a fair price. The best part was that we were able to finish rigging everything up while our projectors were delivered to us. CollaboCrate offered support with a 24/7 phone number; while we didn't really need that, it's nice to know that a smaller crew would have some sort of help if they needed it. We worked with a few rental companies when we were getting started and those experiences had pushed us to purchase and maintain our own gear. If we had this kind of attention and ease of rental all the time we would have opted to rent most of our equipment and left the maintenance to someone else. This is how it should be done.

I started my search well in advance of the event (6 months) to be sure everything was in place. An online search for AV rentals in my area brought me to Liquid AV. Really a first class outfit. Cost of AV equipment at the venue was prohibitive for me. I found Liquid AV's prices to be very competitive. Well below using the equipment vendors at the venue. I made a point to call Zach directly to be sure he would be able to handle my needs and to get a handle on his operation. I was impressed with his knowledge to accurately assess my needs based on the size of the room and the number of people attending. Conversations and follow up e-mails were promptly addressed. A deposit held the date and exactly 1 month out, as promised, I received an e-mail confirming the contract, cleaning up the final details of venue address, start time, show time for set up, etc. I elected to go with the large screen (10') and audio package. Again, I was very impressed. All the equipment was top notch, in brand new condition, and worked flawlessly. The projector set up in a behind the screen configuration gave plenty of room for the tables out in front. Cables, speaker stands, all was arranged for a clean clutter free look. Zach and his technician, Cody, stayed on site to monitor operation. In addition, Zach brought some additional up lighting effects that were used along the outside edges of the room. I'd have to give Liquid AV 5 stars if I were rating them. I will be recommending them to anyone I know that has need of this type of service.
