I had the pleasure to work with Simcha to help me come up with a closet system that would work for my 2 boys who share a small closet. I thought it would be impossible to come up with a system knowing how small was the closet. To my surprise, Simcha was very confident that her design would work in a way that everything would be organized in a manner in which no space will be wasted but still not look cluttered. I cannot recommend Joyful Nest enough. Simcha whipped my whole house into shape - bedrooms, closets, living areas, kitchen cabinets - doing everything from organizing items to choosing and assembling furniture (she was the one who recommended an armoire instead of the hall tree I was about to order for the entry and helped assemble it when it came in - see pictures). The most important part is that she worked with me in a way where she involved me in the process enough for me to be able to understand and maintain the system, but without having to do the annoying parts of actually getting stuff organized into that system. She always comes with a lot of miscellaneous containers, hooks, and other organizing knick knacks so you won't be spending time running back and forth and feel like you're spending a fortune at the container store with her. Usually she will just get everything needed for you ahead of her next visit but if you do have to go to the store, she is happy to come with to help pick stuff or will prepare a comprehensive list based on what you discussed. And her rates are extremely reasonable for the level of service she provides. She is very responsive, prompt, and really listens to your needs and concerns.
