My child is developmentally behind and they were willing to give us a chance. we fell in love with this team right away. they were very hands on with our child and everyone knew him. all staff and children alike. they provided up with excellent feedback when there were times that were a little tougher, which happens in this work. they worked with us to collaborate on solutions and ideas. they were very inclusive with him and other children and even let him do his thing. they knew he was special and the children knew but did not care. he was their friend. Marci's team was absolutely amazing and provided such excellent care it was heartbreaking to leave due to relocation. All the staff was sad to see him go but was very supportive. they were all very hands on and believed in educating all children at their pace. we thank you all for your support and taking care of our child so well. it will be a challenge to find a new area after all these amazing and wonderful people. "The teacher informed me about the behavioral challenges of the children before leaving, detailing specific issues like biting and hitting with a couple of them. When I took over the class, I noticed a range of behavioral concerns among all the children, such as biting, hitting, spitting, pinching, and a lot of shouting with minimal verbal communication. I recognize that children aged 1-3 can exhibit these behaviors, so my focus is more on how the staff responded to the situation. One teacher did eventually intervene to help manage a child who was particularly disruptive. However, her approach of offering candy as a reward seemed to inadvertently reinforce the problematic behavior rather than addressing it. In my experience working in various daycares, I've seen the positive impact that structured environments can have. A strong classroom culture can effectively promote appropriate behaviors and equip children with conflict resolution skills that avoid reactive behaviors like spitting or yelling. The room for toddlers 2+ had a bathroom outside of the room behind a door. In order to take a child to the bathroom they had to open door, walk 3-5 foot turn right walk a few more feet to another door where small bathroom was. My point is simple 1 teacher is not going to see what happens in one room while she is completely out of site and around the corner in another room. Any one who has experience with 2 year olds know the havoc they can wreak in the same room much less another. They bite as well, I'm not even gonna get into the disaster or potty training and soiled diapers can do when your elbow deep in stinky situation. The fact was there was 1 teacher in the room when we toured, she was in fact in the bathroom with another child and it took 5 minutes before she realized we were even in the room . I read the other review before mine and and I made a statement that somewhat confirmed their rambling post. The paperwork does indeed notate2 weeks notice (which is typical and I noted that point) However I also notated there were several inconsistencies in the policy outlined. Months went by and we moved on, however today I woke up to a comment from a teacher with a bachelor degree attempting to harass me via PM. A degree does not automatically make an individual smart apparently. Let's hope she thinks a bit more about going after individuals posting honest facts. Businesses get bad reviews, it happens. A good business fixes the issues and move on by simply doing good business. Having an employee rip into those who write a review they don't like...does a lot more harm than good. I still have my original review and I've posted it to my local mom group along with a snap of this. Maybe this place deserves a second chance but I don't see how it will get i when their own employees act like they never graduated high school.
