Help yourself to whatever you want from the extensive buffet: you pay for it by weight. Specialities include sarapatel (liver, heart, and blood stew), linguiça de bode (goat sausage), and surabim (a river fish). The great thing is that you can help yourself, so you can experiment and try whatever looks good. There are lots of different cakes for dessert. Try the torta de limão (lime meringue pie) with a dollop of doce de leite (caramel sauce). I've had lunch here three times and dinner once in the week that I've been here. And I'll be going again.
