Not only are they highly unprofessional and completely unqualified, they are the most dishonest and immoral people we have ever encountered. They have been sued multiple times in various counties and judgments have been entered against them for: collecting deposits upfront and not delivering materials, incorrectly installing pavers and drainage, abandoning projects. They also do not pay their suppliers and subcontractors, leaving the homeowners responsible with their unpaid bill. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAM SCAM SCAM! This site does not allow enough room to scratch the surface of how horrible our experience was with JP Pavers owned by Paola Balda/Graci and Joseph Henry. We unfortunately discovered the multiple lawsuits against them in surrounding counties after we gave them over $9,100 in a deposit. They rarely showed for work. When they did show, everything they did was done incorrectly (forcing us to hire another company to come in and completely redo the entire job and purchase more material that they ruined and shorted us). They caused us thousands of dollars in damages to our pool, yard, and home. We requested a receipt for the material we paid for several times throughout the process and JP never provided anything. Now we know why. They took our deposit meant for the purchase of material and bounced a check with the supplier (now causing that supplier to threaten a lien against our home if JP Pavers does not pay them). She threatened to pull the crew off of the job if we did not give an additional payment of 25% (75% of the total job) which she referred to as a "commencement payment" (something never discussed or in our contract). She refused to send a competent crew out to finish the job and also refused to provide a refund to us even after we had 4 other paver companies agree that the job had to be completely redone and a home inspector agree to the same thing. This company strung us along a full 3 weeks on a job she said would take no more than a week before we finally said enough is enough. Each time they actually would show up to work all they did was cost us more money to have it redone by a company that knows what they're doing. Do yourself a favor and read the other negative reviews about Paola and Joseph running JP Pavers. We unfortunately discovered after hiring them that the positive Facebook review we found was from her family member. We apparently are not the only customers she has scammed. we signed a contract with Jp pavers in Bradenton, fl in August 2022 for a 20'x12' paver patio extension. simple project. Paid them 2/3 of the project cost and we are now at the end of August 2023 and the only thing they have done is tear up our back yard which is a mess. constant excuses, promises and complete lack of professionalism. We contact Joseph and Paola the 'owners' daily/weekly for status updates and they ignore our voicemails, text messages and emails. Rated 1 star because zero wasn't and option. read more

We contracted with JP Pavers, they took our check. They have not started the paver project. 60 days have passed. Our check was cashed 2 days after we gave it to her . We have called, texted and emailed. We have received three calls of reasons why the delay. This week we received an email "commencement day".However at the bottom of the email, it stated in read, they would not be at fault if they could not get the product. This company is 110% unprofessional. They do not have the experience they claim to have. The wife/mother is running the show and is having her older son perform as the Forman. Both of them are inexperienced. This company was formally operated by her fiancé or now husband and they are letting the balls drop to say the least. They do not have enough experience with drainage and did not do the job they agreed to do. They were on my property for 3 full months and canceled every time there was a hint of rain! They are under staffed and left an entire mess in my yard - front and back. I had to pay a landscaper over 1k to clean up their mess full of dirt and concrete that they refused to remove from my lawn. Over and above this they promised to seal the pavers as part of the job and will not answer any text or call in relation to this request for them to do this.
