What a horrific experience. Mr. Lancaster charged me $50 extra dollars for expedited service. What he mailed me 5 days later was an unusable proof of service because he failed to include his fee in the required section five questionnaire. When I discovered his mistake, he emailed me a corrected version, which was also unusable as the court does not accept emails. They only accept faxes or originals., which Mr. Lancaster knew. It has now been two weeks and despite my repeated requests, he has not faxed for mailed the corrected forms. Due to his admitted mistake and failure to deliver the usable original corrected documents in a timely manner, I asked Mr. Lancaster to refund just the $50 expedition fee. He was welcome to keep his $95 server fee. He declined. Without apology for his mistake and with a great deal of condescension, he man-splaned to me how his "new female employee" was responsible for the typo and he would not refund his expedition fee for any reason. Why he felt the need to blame his employee and specifically highlight her gender is beyond me. As of the date of posting, I have not received usable court documents from Mr. Lancaster despite his expedition fee. read more

Before I used their services I did a Google search and used the first process server that picked up the phone (the third one listed). I hired JPL twice. The first serves was fine, but the next serves was terrible. I had a court date for 1-8- 2018 and JPL served my client on 12-18-2017 and they did not mail my POS until 1-5-2018 and I did not receive it until 1-8-2018 too late for my court date. And when I called them they lied about sending it on time. And now I have to go back to court a second time because of the untimely serve. Mr. Jeff Lancaster, you have not added anything of significance to what has already been stated by you. All you did was incessantly repeat yourself with your nonsense and rubbish. That will not help your case. If you want to be taken seriously, you might want to first try to make sense in the things that you say. Clearly, there is something missing up there. No need to further embarrass yourself with your words in your desperate attempt to try to save face. Not that I need to explain anything to you, but, for the record, I did not intentionally delete or change any of my assertions. I stand by them with conviction. What happened was that when I tried to respond to your initial preposterous comments, I accidentally erased my first post without knowing. Since I do not post very often, unless absolutely necessary, where I feel the perpetrator deserves to be known about the ill-advised conduct, obviously I unintentionally click on the wrong button. So, having said that, I know you like to erroneous assume many things, but for your own benefit, it would be judicious to not jump the gun because in doing that, it is you that is being perceived as being completely ignorant. I would never take back any of the things that I said. Your conduct has been objectively evaluated, and you absolutely deserve the one star review. In fact, if I was able to give zero stars, that is what you would get. Get it? Absolutely no one would put up with your attitude. It is extremely important to learn proper phone etiquette to prevent you from dealing with the wrath of your prospective callers. Further, please recognize that even if I was to give you the benefit of the doubt concerning all your assertions, there are still too many inconsistencies. The fact that I did not divulge important information does not mean that you can then illogically and erroneously assume that I am serial rapist or murderer, etc., when you fully know that I am an attorney. If you are paranoid without reasonable basis, then that is on you, not anyone else. As for free services, unlike you, I would gladly give free services to my clients without whining or complaining about it. It is a kind gesture, and, if I can do it, I would be more than happy to do so. If not, I would politely tell them I can't, not respond the way you did like a 5 year old child. Last, if you wish to take action, I enthusiastically invite you to do so. I would be more than happy to respond with my cross-complaint and then with subsequent action against you for abuse of process and malicious prosecution. All told, to the entire Yelp community, I have reasons to be disgusted with this business. If you need to look for someone to serve papers because you can't find someone of legal age not involved in the case to do it for you, there are so many others out there that offer better prices and better professional services. I have a situation where I needed to start the process of serving someone as quickly as possible. On a previous matter this individual managed to dodge service for nearly two months despite an accurate home and employment address. I was worried that they would vanish as they have in the past before service could be completed. Less than 1 week from start to finish and I received a email from JPL letting me know that they have been served. I am very satisfied and happy to know that they were able to complete the job so quickly.
