My project required complex normalizing of the audio of many video files I had previously burned to DVD a very long time ago. I spent years trying to find a solution to fix the DVD's annoying sound volume variance. I am so lucky to have found Biography Stories online and grateful to Mr. Slifer. Hal personally made sure that their remastered version of my DVD turn out even better than I ever could have hoped for. No I chose EverPresent to digitize my family photos after my mother passed away. The initial…read moreestimated price was upheld. After agreeing to the initial quote, I was later told it would cost an additional $600 to improve image quality. At no point before committing was I told that enhancements cost extra, after speaking to the owner it will be something in the future they will include for images that are severely damaged. organization was not attempted, I had put the photos in folders to protect them and I believe it was assumed that was organized. In the future I believe the customer should be asked if they intend to organize the photos themselves. I later received marketing for their "Digital Photo Organizing" service, which promises duplicate removal and organization, but this is a separate, service that was never clearly distinguished upfront. When using the service ask specifically if the photos will be returned to your home or a drop off location. These photos were irreplaceable memories tied to my late mother, and that context was clearly communicated. The photos came out nice, they did a good job with them, the packaging they sent back with them was done with love and they do a great packaging job to ensure nothing happens to your photos during return or storage.
