We looked around online for a photographer in 2019, and were really impressed with Lindsey's photos and website. We booked her for our wedding in 2020 (not knowing what was to come), and were really impressed when she scheduled an engagement photoshoot with us. We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! At first, we were really worried about planning the reception with new restrictions, but Lindsey stepped in and showed us how prepared she was for the changes at the venue. We filled out a detailed questionnaire for any special photos we wanted captured, and the people required for our bridal party / family group shots. Even though I thought there were so many requests, "Soccer Mom" Lindsey was amazing on the day of the wedding, getting everyone in and out for photos lightning fast, so that they could go back and enjoy the reception. It was a whirlwind in the moment, but looking back at the photos, we are so happy we got every group shot we requested, and they were all so fun! From morning to late night, Lindsey and her assistant were there for us, rolling with the last-minute issues and focused on making us look great! They really went the extra mile to make us and our families feel comfortable, and worked non-stop the whole day. We really appreciate her style and editing, and were floored with how many amazing photos we got. Lindsey/Lensy shot our elopement at Boston City Hall. She was fantastic. She communicated very well up front as we prepared for the event, and she was so warm and friendly in person on the day of the ceremony, she immediately put us at ease (on what could be a pretty stressful day). She knew exactly where to go to get a great variety of backgrounds and she took a variety of more traditional photos as well as plenty of more fun/editorial type shots. She was also very efficient, so the shoot went quickly and was very enjoyable. She had a lot of experience with LGBTQIA+ couples, so that was important for us - she made us feel very at comfortable throughout the whole process. We strongly believe that your wedding should be as unique as your relationship. We wanted our day to feel precisely that, a day that clearly represented us - The groom was American; the bride was British. We met through Instagram because of the bride's love of vintage 1950s dresses, and the groom's love of her in them. We opted to elope and we agreed on two non-negotiable things, that we wanted to elope in Salem, MA where the groom was originally from, and that we would need to have the perfect photographer to capture our day. Lindsey is an incredibly talented photographer and an overall amazing person to work with. We hired her for our engagement shoot and for our wedding day. The quality of her photos are just top notch but also working with her was one of the best experiences we had out of all our other vendors. She is attentive and imaginative and really advocates for her couples. We reached out to her multiple times for advice on a bunch of things -- placement/orientation of our outdoor ceremony set up to work with the timing of sunset, help finding a videographer, ideas for photos etc. You can tell she really loves her couples because she was just so kind and was always looking out for us. She worked incredibly well with our wedding planner and even offered artistic help to our videographer who we hired last minute (literally 10 days before the wedding). She had worked with us for a year already so she was open with him about how we saw our dream of an "office themed" wedding video and provided comedic ideas for him to use to gather vlog style video content. Her fun quirky personality encouraged us to be our true selves and be weird and fun instead of stiff and traditional in our photos. We look back on tons of photos now and see who we are as a couple and we love that - instead of seeing 2 people going through the traditions of a wedding. All our guests loved her energy and how she was on the dance floor all night long with us gathering candid shots of everyone singing and dancing their heart out to our band. She was legitimately on the floor doing whatever she could to get the shots! We also extended her services by an hour to have her capture the more rowdy crowd at our afterparty. She was standing on the bar capturing everyone's craziness and she got the funniest moments photographed. She may be small in frame, but she always projected her voice to let every guest know which camera was the paid photographer and to have them look her way and not the floating iPads. She somehow directed 150+ people and captured our sparkler shots and her editing skills have just left us in tears. We loved every minute of our experience with Lindsey and look forward to having her document all our future life events!
