I had contacted therm by Yelp last Friday, explained what services I needed, and had a short term, flexible contract by last Saturday, and they took care of the first grass cutting last Sunday afternoon. Prices are very reasonable and services includes weed-whacking, trimming and edging the lawn, cutting the lawn, and blowing, bagging, and carting away the clippings and debris. Gaetan is extremely professional, exacting and detail-oriented, and I am very pleased with the services - I highly recommend Valley Landscaping!

I have bought bluestone that never flaked or failed in 30 years... Failed Bluestone is under cover so its not the elements of weather but we all know it took millions of years to make. The reviews on here and other sites are not recent. I thought I would support a local business. Spent $5K . They kept repeating to look at my invoice that tells me the products are natural with imperfections. Imperfections are one thing but flaws and failure are another. To sell a defective product is not right. I expect a replacement for the failed pieces but of course, they hung up on me and never addressed my grievance.

We have a lot of sloping ground that was in need of a retaining wall, stairs and and extended patio with a fireplace to make our backyard safer and more enjoyable for entertaining and Paul was there with a vision. Joe, the foreman, was very meticulous making sure everything was perfect and we were happy. Paul showed up everyday to tweak the layout and make changes when and where they were needed to make it flow better. I'm the kind of person who can't see the vision until it done and right in front of me so I made a change midpoint and Paul made it happen without qualm. When Paul made changes, I didn't know it would make it better but it did. Everything was perfect and the way it needed to be. There were at least 8 different crew members but no more than 4 on the job any given day. All of them were respectful of the property, very polite and hard working. I know it's the nature of the job but these gentlemen worked through some of the worst weather on our project. Heat, humidity, beating sun and a constant threat of rain most days, they even did some work in the rain. They were able to deal with the aftermath of a weekend of torrential rain with grace. If we ever have another project Sunshine Tree & Landscape will be who we call because we couldn't be happier with the whole experience, even two of our neighbors are on their schedule.

Avoid Trevor Landscaping - Unkept Promises & a Nightmare Experience…read more Trevor seemed like the dream contractor at first--charismatic, sharp, and super responsive. He offered a great price and made big promises about what he could deliver. Based on our early conversations and stellar references and reviews, I felt confident moving forward and gave him a $30,000 deposit. That's when everything went downhill. After receiving my deposit, communication became nearly impossible. Delay after delay, excuse after excuse--and then he completely ghosted me. I tried calling, texting, emailing... nothing. Days went by with zero response. When I finally got in touch and pleaded for some honesty, he admitted I should "go elsewhere" and promised to return my deposit. No apology for me losing more than 2 months due to his inaction. But even that turned into another frustrating chase. I was told, "It's in the mail," or, "There was a problem issuing it." It wasn't until I threatened legal action that the refund finally came through. Out of concern, I went to the town to report what happened, and was stunned to learn I wasn't the only one. Someone in the building department had a nearly identical experience. It became clear this may be a pattern--taking deposits from multiple clients to fund other jobs, or simply to keep the business afloat. In other words, it felt like an interest-free loan for him, with no guarantee of work ever starting. If you're thinking of hiring Trevor Landscaping, please be careful. The promises may sound great, but the risk is high. I lost time, trust, and a lot of peace of mind through this process. Learn from my experience.
